one twin learing about the other

He is learning about himself

My twin, one who sees much and yet voices not a breath in time.

Seer of much yet wanter of more than can be given.

My twin, one who’s voice is mightier than the whisper of an exploding volcano, rattler of universes, destroyer of nothingness, enlightener.

One who brings feelings never felt or understood, one who brings warmth where coldness permeated deeply into unknown territory.

Twin, bringer of passion and love.

Bringer of fine feelings that shine in the void of the blackest universe.

Bringer of joys yet unexpressed or even felt, breaker of hearts.

Twin, world changer extant.

The shaker of universes, creator of limitless beauty, a shining star brighter than all the stars together.

Twin, whose smile creates the thundering beat of many hearts and creates torrents of emotions in those he know’s, melter of hearts.

Twin, talker extant, narrator of great things to come, one whose breath creates the universe and whose blink creates endless time.

One who has yet to talk to the deepest ocean in himself?

Twin, the one who when he breaks the chains of silence will shake the foundations of the universe and cause all things to blossom and shine.

Twin, The shaker of universes, creator of vastnesses beyond comprehension, one who’s smile warms the earth and melts the snow.

Twin, One who never commits himself to the wonders of the universe.

One who will dull his reach for the stars and the great universe yet unseen by him?

Deep passion and vibrant life is there to have should he only look and let himself break the chains of darkness.

Silver and golden rays of lifes won unknownesses await one who looks and smile at himself.

I found myself smiling while reading this. I too have written a poem using the "er" modifiers to attempt to define a family member--my Mother. So I'm intrigued by this write, but slightly confused. The word "twins" immediately divides my mind, and reading about "one" makes me think "the other" is to follow. So in my mind, I never know which twin is which, although you state in the beginning it is about one twin getting to know the other. Thus, my mind is always in a state of confussion reading this.

That having been said, I like your writing style; one line builds upon another, creating layers of emotion that take in your readers. You've got some very unique and lovely lines here. I especially love, "One who has yet to talk to the deepest ocean in himself" (referring, I think to the second twin?). At any rate, the poem--because it is a poem, and I hope somewhere in the middle of a long-long story, is well-worth tightening up for your twins to treasure. How to tighten it up is a good question. Good luck with that--and with everything. --Charlie
