It is really good

Ch.1

Mariah sat on the stone wall, looking at the black cat that was rubbing on her. She could see witches and hear the voices of people screaming. She chuckled slipping down the wall, her short shirt slid down around her and the light red material glided down.

She wore a tight red shirt with a black witch hat that had orange ribbons around it. a witch.... a young witch.

Another witch was just sitting around the corner, by the name of Jane. The same cat that had visited Mariah, now visited her. She was wearing a black longed-sleeved silky  shirt, and wore a long black skirt that matched with knee high boots. She wore on her head a red and black witche's hat.

Mariah walked through the gate and saw Jane. She walked  over to her and laughed.

"What's so funny?" Jane said in a pissed-off mood.

"Your just in a bad mood," Mariah replied laughing at her.

"So what if I am, why do you care?."

"Because," Mariah stated and poked Jane's hat. "I just do."

"Hey, that's my hat thankyou very much."

"It's a hat." Mariah chuckled.

"So it's my favorite hat."

"Its cute."  Mariah said  bouncing up and down.

"Yeah, yeah, so what." Jane stated.

"...." Mariah started to point her fingers. "...sorry."

"Its okay, I'm just pretty upset, that's all."

Mariah nodded and held her hand out. "Lets go find Jack."

"Ok, where would he be?"

"Jack is Jack, pumpkin patch."

"Yea I guess you are right because he is the pumpkin king." Jane said "He would be in the pumpkin patch."

"Come then, to the pumpkin patch." Mariah laughed running with Jane.

"Ok here we go to find him."

Pumpkin Patch.

Oh my klojo!" Mariah squeeled looking around. "So many pumpkins."

"Yeah, so many brightly colored pumpkins, oooh, a big bright orange one." Jane announced happily.

Mariah skipped around. "Jack!", she yelled as loud as she could "WHERE ARE YOU!!!?"

"I think I see him over by a hill." Jane pointed out.

"Onward!," Mariah yelled and ran.

"Jack Jack, is that you up there?" Jane asked curiously.

The tall figure turned and saw the two girls. "Hello you two!" he said happily.

"I -was -right, it- is - him," Jane panted a little from running. "Hi Jack."

Mariah ran up and hugged his leg. "I missed you."

The king sighed. "I saw you not even twenty minutes ago..."

"What about me Jack?" asked Jane grinning.

"Hello Jane, he said and placed a hand on her head. "It's nice to see you too."

"We missed you a lot, how is Zero?" Jane wondered with excitement.

Jack looked around. "He's good, he's been with that demon....what was his name?"

"Alexial, Jack." Mariah spoke up.

"Oh, I wanted to throw him a bone, that I found for him," Jane said disappointed.

"I'm sure he'll come around, until then ..." he said. "Mariah would you like to go find Alexial?"

"Okie dokie, Jack!!"

"I guess I'll go grab my broomstick and help," said Jane.

"No she can find him quick, they are related." Jack said.Mariah ran off in search for the demon.

"Oh, ok, I guess I'll wait for her to get back," Jane sounded hurt.

Jack nodded and looked up. "Well, Halloween's near. Do you have a ny plans?"

"Uh a little, maybe putting together a portion or two," she answered.

"That's not much, how's this. I'll let you join me in the festivities?"

"Really, I would like that a lot Jack, she said happily. "thank you a whole bunch."

Jack nodded. "There's no need to thank me."

She ran over and gave him a hug aroung the legs.

Jack chuckled and looked around. "I wonder...."

"You wonder what?" Jane asked.

"Huh?" Jack looked at her. "Nothing."

"Well you said I wonder." she repeated back to him

".... I'm trying to get an idea." He nodded.

"Oh, I understand now."

Moments later the ghost dog Zero floated up barking. Jack petted him. "So Mariah found you?"

"Zero, hi boy I got you a bone,"said Jane bouncing up and down.

Zero barked and circled around panting.

"Are you thirsty boy, I can get you some water, oh wait you're a ghost they don't drink water."

Zero shook his head and went up to Jane's eye level and pressed his nose to hers.

"Hi, do you want your bone now?"

Zero barked and licked her.

"Zero get ready I'm going to throw your bone."

Zero floated down and waited. Jack chuckled, "Throw it far."

"Okay, here I go," and she threw it.

 Zero flew up after it.

"Zero bring it back boy, come on", said Jane.

Zero returned with the wrong bone.

"Oh zero that's not the right bone, but it will do come on I'll throw it again."

Zero barked and Jack looked around. "Where's Mariah?"

"I don't know," said Jane, "I haven't seen her since she left."

Zero?" Jack asked and the dog barked. "Where is Mariah?"

Zero shoo his head.

"DO you think he hears her?"

"...no...Mariah never found you?"

Zero shook his head.

"We should go find her shouldn't we?"

"I think so...." Jack stood up. "Zero look too."

Jane, Jack, and Zero went to go find Mariah.

"Mariah,Jane called out "where are you?"

".... You won't find her." came a dark voice.

"Who was that? Jack, I'm scared." Jane whimpered.

Standing in frontog them was a teen with short black hair wearing a gothic outfit.

"....I saw her... she vanished."

"Where is she?" Jane demaned.

The boy chuckled. "What gives you the right to ask?"

"She is like my sister you meanie", and Jane came over and kicked him.

"Hey!" he said and threw her into the wall. Jack walked to him.

"Enough you two."

"He won't tell me where Mariah is."

"Wantanabe, where did Mariah go?" Jack asked.

The teen smirked. "Like I'd tell."

"Tell us or I'll turn you into a toad." Jane replied.

"Like hell you would, I'd catch up on your spells before you try." Wantanabe said.

"Try me," Jane said and tried to turn him into a toad.

Wantanabe laughed "Pathetic witch."

"I am not, you are an evil prick."

"Thankyou." Wantanabe bowed.

He takes my insults as a compliment, Jane thought to herself.

"You are a jerk! Tell us where Mariah is or I'll kick you gain if you are so big and bad." Jane proclaimed.
