She sashayed in uprooting her hot sister, who just up and left. Her arrival was not unexpected...she's been doing the same thing...forever.
She...so cool, with her unique attire; stunning shades of red, gold and brown that are now spread all over the place...does seem to be 'settling in' pretty well. Admittedly, things can get quite bare with her around, still...I do enjoy her presence and really am a little saddened to think of her leaving. However, when her sibling, who is always so cold, arrives in a couple of months she will depart...only to return again at the same time next year.
There are four of them, you know. Yes...there's the one that just left, the one that's here now, the one that's soon to come and then there's the one that always shows up a few months after the beginning of a new year.
I must tell you that it is not so easy adjusting to four entirely different personalities every few months and it is certainly something that one has to get used to but, considering the rich blessing in it, I don't mind it at all. You see...I know their Father. Yes, He and I are very good friends and have been for years. In fact, He owns the place. So, I get to stay rent free, while the siblings... well, they come and go as their Father allows.
I think this to be a pretty good 'arrangement'...don't you? I mean...I don't hardly suffer from the boredom of the 'atmosphere' always being the same around here, as they all are quite different. And I find that the 'flurry' which accompanies their arrivals and departures throughout the year, somehow, invigorates me. Thus, I'm always filled with the anticipation of something new and wonderful about to happen.
What's that...? Their names? Oh...didn't I mention? No...? Well, I'm so sorry about that and they do have such beautiful names. Now, let's see... there's Spring, she's the one that comes in the early part of the new year, then there's Summer, who just left and then Autumn, she's the one that's here now and last but not least, Winter, the 'cold' one...that's soon to come.
They're such lovely girls. They just keep coming and going. I love them all equally...I honestly don't have a favorite. Why not? Well, I guess...it's the 'temperate' thing...if you know what I mean.
THE END
