Debbie,
I have an inside contact with JPAC, I have some news on MIA/POW's that may interest you!!!
Recently, like in the last several months, . 50 near complete skeletal remains were turned over by Vietnam to JPAC. The curious part and reason for hope is that all remains appeared to have been stored above ground, not buried. "Stored" being the optimal word for hope for us. Reportedly there may be more. They are working on these I was told to obtain identities. But for families like ours, whose remains were supposedly unrecoverable, it could be oddly beneficial as Danny could well be the type of remains recovered.
It could be false hope, but my contact wanted me to know in light of Danny being listed as "case closed" due to lack of possible recovery. He especially thought these types of cases would possibly gain the most hope.
Anyway, maybe we will be blessed with Danny's return, maybe not. However, it sure gives better hope than we've been led to believe.
