It seems that all marriages start perfect,
some actually do and some have a rough way to go.
If there is tendency for abuse, it usually will start not long
after the couple are married, most times before there are children.
The woman usually feels that she has done something wrong
or could do something better. The man usually makes her
feel this way on purpose to get an upper hand on his wife.
This makes him feel like a bigger man that he can control her.
Just how big of a man does it take to control a woman that
has no sense of value of herself, he has taken that away.
He does not know it but he does not impress anyone but himself,
his good friends are dwindling away and their wives are glad.
It usually starts with verbal abuse, she can do nothing right.
He starts arguing over little things then expects her to be the
maid of the house and everything should be spotless and his
clothes should be washed, pressed, and put away each day.
Then when you make a mistake on one of these it gives him the
upper hand and he starts at first smacking you, and then he will
knock you up against the wall for no reason. Later he decides
he wants children and you need to stay home and keep them.
None of your friends are good enough anymore. You must not
tell anyone that he gave you that black eye or the nasty bruises
on your arms. He threatens to kill you if you do not do everything
he tells you to do. You are not your own person anymore.
After a couple of children, you decide you have had enough
and you want out from under him. The children are so quiet
because if they open their mouth he hits them and they are
scared of their dad. He is not like the other kids dads that plays ball
with their children. They have never had any love from him.
