In the poem don’t say Good bye was written for a dear friend who told all of her friends she is going to be moving away, well I got to thinking more about this even after I had written the Poem, Sometimes when we walk away or turn away from God it is not that God turn away from us, it when we turn away from him, and “he Dose not want to hear us say Good bye….and he then says to us… Don’t Say Good Bye” thinking we could do it ourselves and do it our way, but we then find out for our self that things are not going the way we had planed and we then we find out we need God in our lives and this is were Prayer comes in because of the Changes in our lives as people come and go thou out our lives, I think there is a Message for all of us during this time of the year when the season changes from summer in to fall and then to winter and we feel like a dear friend is leaving us and going away, because we can’t see God’s handy work in the things around us as the Trees are bear and the bird of the air have gone south for the winter and the Ground is cover by a blanket of snow so that is why we need Prayer and a little Prayer Changes every thing and helps us to see that it may not be as bleak as it may seem. If we allow God into our lives and ask him to Guide us thou all the Parts of our lives and to help us in the most trouble and bleak times, then this time of year don’t have to be as sad as it may sound.. And Just to let you know God loves us and will never leave us or Forsake us,
