Carol Speed was the house guest of Dr. James Farmer in 1992.

Carol Speed was a house guest of Dr. James Farmer ( a Cabinet Member of the Richard Nixon Administration) in Fredericksburg, Virginia.  Dr. James Farmer mentioned to her that politicians, civil rights leaders, and community leaders were always telephoning him, including Senator Ted Kennedy, to discuss the political climate in America.  In fact, Dr. James Farmer was so well informed that he knew about the 1992 Los Angeles Riots before it was on the news.
