“Precious Night Unveiled”

Tonight there is a warm, misting soft rain that falls gently to refresh all that receives its touch. As I silently walk in the rain, the light mist of shower droplets refreshes and arouses my senses. There is an awareness of a great power that is so much higher than one can perceive. There is great refreshment in the air this evening. It is a splendid night full of the very awareness that God is with me.

I feel my heart speak:  I am so happy to be in the very presence of my dear Savior and Lord. For it is He that has set this beautiful night in motion: Just for me. His presence is obvious in the soft rain that gently falls to the ground. His divine Spirit moves forth in the winds that blow gently through-out this spirit filled night.

There is a warm breeze at present; but I feel yet a cool blowing wind moving in. Signs so vivid as to the knowing that a new season is changing right before my eyes. I so enjoy the changes that You, my Lord send forth.

As this night unveils, I see myself looking beyond all that I see and feel. I see changes in my life that only God has known the direction. I enter into Thy holiness and seek a message to be delivered to the innermost part of my self. As I open my mind and heart to Thee, I pray, dear Lord humbly I implore of Thee Thy friendship. I seek earnestly to be renewed in thought and deed. As I speak the presence of the Lord engulfs me with food for thought toward righteousness.  I am reminded in my soul that change is eminent in all living things.  Even sometimes episodes in our daily lives require change. Some things are against the grain so to speak, and in need of immediate change. This is a quiet non threatening anger that brings forth change. The word of God says: “Be angry but sin not”. I believe this is a gift from God Himself. Anger is the very birthplace of change. I see injustice and it makes me angry. So I do something about it to bring about justice for whoever or what ever.  I see people with no hope and on the verge of self-destruction.  This makes me angry and I do something about it by telling of the hope that is in me through Christ Jesus. I am reminded by my Lord this night as I mist myself in His rain that if I can tolerate something I will never change it. Hence anger must take place. I suppose it angers the earth to know that new life cannot begin unless there is an end to the old, so the leaves fall, and the wind blows, the rains and the snow comes to cause new life to begin. I see now my Lord why we could not have any relationship until You changed me by giving me a new heart, and renewing my spirit within me.

This had to be done before we could fellowship and have communion together. It must have made you angry to see the sin I was living in before I found You. It must have made You angry that my husband and I were never really one until we met You. It must have made you angry that we could not teach our children any real truth about the true living God. It must have made You angry that mankind was on the road to hell with no hope whatsoever. So You became a man; bore the cross and went to hell for us. You couldn’t tolerate that we had no redemption. What a marvelous God You are. Saved us in You righteous anger to save us from Your just wrath. Keep looking in our lives Lord, is our prayer. If there be any minute thing that makes you angry oh Father; don’t tolerate it and bring the change about. Amen!

I hear an echo of the truth so divine. It calls out in the stillness of this night. I, Lord am ever ready to be still and hear You in my heart. I long so to be close by Your side. My thoughts and desires are of need of Thee. My soul does well, when in accord with Thee.

The greatest of all the gifts that You have bestowed on me is Your love. I find so desperately that I am fulfilled in Thee through an everlasting love. A bountiful love and unselfish love.  One like a well that never runs dry.

As the rain has fallen and filled the cracks and crevices of all that I see this night, so it is with my soul. You, Oh Lord have given love freely in order that I may be full. You have filled the empty spaces in my heart. You know me inside and out. All that I am is because of You. There are no hidden secrets within that I have left untold. I humbly ask for Your hand to remain on my life. Lead me onward Lord!

I wish to tell the whole world that You are greater than all that I have ever known. Ever present, ready to defend me and show me how to love. Not a selfish love, but a love that is pure. A true dedication to my Creator.

Tranquility and peace abound tonight. There is perfect harmony and all is well. Blest be Your name! Oh night divine, gentle misting rain there is a peace upon you.

Glory be to You, the Lord, my God almighty! I remain steadfast in Your love. I shall continue to search Your ways and be willing to receive Your love.

Resting in Your protection I prayerfully petition You for just Your presence in my life. Be always at my side and may I always be close to Thee. Beautiful warm night, I shall never forget the love I felt in your presence with the Lord. Let the good change happen and bless you as you spring forth to daylight.
