Showers running hot and cold

A Cold Drive and A Warm Night: Chapter Sixteen

The shower stall was tiny and not meant for two. I had to plaster myself against the wall of the stall as the door folded inward my eyes riveted on her standing there in a towel, as beautiful a creature as I had ever see in my life, a mischievous smile on her face.

I literally could not catch my breath. It was not until then that I realized again that this was the woman in my delirious dream, this was Jenny and my heart pounded for her.

She stood there motionless staring at me not looking down, but looking deliberately in my eyes.

In my naked glory I was getting nervous and finally said

“Fair is fair, and it is getting cold in here.”

I nodded toward her towel.

She looked a little surprised finally getting my meaning and then slowly let the towel drop a bit pausing and finally whispering”

“A gentleman would avert his eyes.”

I turned sideways in the small shower stall and averted my eyes looking upward as I heard the towel dropping to the bathroom floor with a gentle thump and felt her sliding into the stall behind me, her body brushing mine, her breath on my neck.

I turned up the water a bit and moved over to allow it to begin to moisten her and splash over her. I could hear her gasp a little bit at the warmth and explain:

“Oh, that feels good."

It did feel good to Jenny as she reached up and around him delighted at the contact with him and fetched the bar of soap there and began to lather first herself and then with the wet bar to start to lather his back.

She just did it out of instinct all the while inspecting his back between soapy swaths from her soapy hands.

It was a broad back surprisingly smooth with a scar on the upper left shoulder blade, another on the lower right of his torso and several others she could not identify. The man had scars.

She lathered him a bit more and then reached around his body and began to later his chest, doing it and then finding out she was doing it for the sheer pleasure of touching him.

His hands were above his head as he allowed her hands to soap him up, from shoulders to his belly button. She was not going any further than that.

She could feel him relax like a small child.

Oh, she was getting so aroused by the sheer sensuality of it all, to be sure; the sheer boldness she had allowed to her self was also exhilarating and his astonishing sense of who she was and what she was doing added to it.

She felt the man understood her and that what was happening would not push things into sex. She knew he knew intimacy without sex and that however only excited her more.

Like a child he seemed to be enjoying her touching and being comfortable with it, so comfortable. She had no sense of his about to jump her bones. No, he was simply enjoying her touch; she was sure of that even though she could not see his face.

And I was enjoying her touch as much as man could and should enjoy a woman’s touch.

She had a tremendous sense of touch playing with the soap on his chest making tiny circles around his chest and breathing on his neck the whole time.

I had no need of anything else in my life, having this overwhelming feeling that, sex aside, Jenny knew how to communicate with her touch, convey her own feelings, her own feelings for him, he imagined, in that touch.

There was something reverential in it, something even spiritual in her touch and something moved from her to him and she bathed him like a baby, like a man loved, like it was a spiritual act.

“God,” he thought to himself, “to touch is to love, if done correctly.” and how this woman had learned to do it that way was surprising to him, no shocking to him and he chastised himself to shut up thinking about it and be it, be there with her.

Jenny moved in closer behind him, still lathering and felt her whole body soften into his from behind, allowing herself to fit into the contours of his back.

She let her head rest just in between his shoulder blades after tracing a soapy trail between them.

She felt him then reach around and grasp her around her waist, his arms long enough to reach to her waist and rest there.

She gasped and he did too, the warm water had run out and the water suddenly turned ice cold. She reached up to turn it off.

To be continued.
