She heard him ask
As he put away
The bloody axe
For a chainsaw
"Do you want to
Play chase with me?"
"Yes I will play chase
Do you think you can catch me?"
"Feisty aren't we then I will give you a run" he says as he started the chainsaw.
She runs from the room
In her frenzy
She falls as the chainsaw nears
Buzzing like mosquitoes in her ears
She jumps up frantically and runs
Opening the front door
She races outside
Her heart pounding
Like a steady train
He sees her flee
Like a frightened deer
And he smells her fear
And enjoys the game
As he goes after her
She feels
Exhiliration
And raw naked terror
As the chainsaw again nears
And screams escape her
Now frozen lips
As he comes closer
And she sees a cave
And crawls in
The drip of water
And the dark shadows
And she cringes in fear
As she runs.and hides in the darkness.Hoping he will not see. Angered he yells out.
"Come out and play
Come and play with me
Let's play chase"
Tears freeze on her. Now flustered cheeks. And fear is mounting. She almost ceases to breathe. Lest he may be near. Deep into the cavern he creeps. His chainsaw now not running. As he listens for her. Stillness echoes. She can now hear. Her own heart beating rapidly. The tension high. He could be far away. Or breathing down her neck. He is enraged. Where the hell is she?. He is thinking. As out of desperation. He stalks out of the cavern. He hears now her footsteps. But she doesnt see him hiding. Behind a nearby tree. As he watches her. Come out of the cave. Then with a savage rush. He comes at her. She hears the rustling of the autumn leaves. And quickly turns. As he grabs her. And she hids the sharp rock. Behind her back. As she waits. Waits for the right time. As he swings the chainsaw. And she jabs the rock. Into one of his eyes. There is the gush of blood. The scream of pain. As the chainsaw. Falls out of his hands. She grabs the chainsaw. And turning it on. She stands eye to eye. With flames of hate. In her eyes.
"Come on damn you come on!" she screams angrily. He staggers. Holding the bloody hole. Where his eye once was. As he screams. In rage. And leaps at her. In his leap. She slices out with the chainsaw. As he screams in horror. As his left ahnd is torn off. He falls to the ground. Writhing. In utter pain.
"Go play chase with yourself" she hisses.
As she runs away. Hoping to find help.
