Siren appears in The Hiss Quarterly Volume IV, Issue 2
The white undersides of fish. That's what Alexie’s feet looked like in the water. Her legs were that way, too, white fishy sticks. Monica's tan, muscular legs dangled off the dock, next to Alexie’s fish legs. Monica was solid and curvy, older looking than her fifteen years. Her eyes, dark and thickly lashed, slanted up in the corners, giving her an exotic look.
