All that is well and good, and I wish you much success with your training program, as well as your ARK building, how-some-ever and nevertheless, I must protest!
Unless I miss my guess, the good ole Holy Book told us that the next destruction of the earth - well, er, uh, um - not really earth - just MAN - would be by FIRE - not water again! More like a great FIREBALL from the sky, kinda like a NUCLEAR BLAST?
So, it would seem to me that ASBESTOS accumulation might be a better idea. Now there's a really good MANMADE product that we used everywhere in buildings and on pipes, and furnaces - in order to insulate, right?
Years later, we discovered it was killing our lungs, so we then BANNED its use, and paid MEXICANS in white suits to REMOVE it all, right? They’re the ones collecting OUR tax dollars in the form of SSA DISABILITY benefits, because those white suits were only 1 micron penetrable, and the asbestos was ˝ micron - DUH?
Well, WHERE DID WE PUT IT ALL? Along with the nuclear WASTE from those wonderfully efficient nuclear power plants, that now we pay EXTRA money for COAL to somehow operate?
Then, we have all those millions and millions of TONS of PLASTIC, another product we can't blame on God, that's polluting our lands, waters, air -fumes while it's being made & like in the 120,000 FREE TRAILERS from FEMA -
EUREKA! I GOT IT! - How about we load all this toxic SHIT onto spaceships, and shoot it into the SUN? Maybe the SUN is really GOD, like the Egyptian's SUN-GOD, and being omnipotent, all powerful - it can handle it?
OR - maybe it will EXPLODE - providing the aforementioned FIRE-BALL which will bring about our ultimate demise?
Either way, you might want to re-think your time spent on ARK carpentry and woodwork - the real answer could be using - ALUMINUM, ASBESTOS, TITANIUM, COPPER, AND PLASTIC - to build a more modern ARK - A SPACESHIP!
THEN, just like the movie, MOUSE ON THE MOON, the sole survivors of the late great planet earth could be just KOSTROS - a new, improved generation of POLLACKS, who after a skillion-zillion years, could re-inhabit the BIG BLUE MARBLE - only it will be the new, improved RIPE RED MARBLE!
How's THAT for a plan?

In all your Tom-Foolery, you DO make such good sense!
I'm making a proposal to Congress: Take away the increased cigarette tax, and put same on each plastic bag used by purchasers. Lot more $ collectable that way! And isn't petroleum a large part of plastic? Lowering demand there, just might bring down price of gas...MIGHT, I said :o)

a new, improved generation of POLLACKS
Now, yer talkin! But sadly, we probably dumped all that asbestos and plastic, right in the ocean, with tons of other toxic waste, which is helping to kill all our sea life these days. I've read that in some parts of the ocean today, for every pound of fish, there are six pounds of plastic. Truly sickening... And when the oceans all die, and all the forests, we won't be far behind. |
