C3PO has to check up on Master Luke and Luke has a vision that Jedi Trisha Summers is on danger aboard Naboo.

Episode XIII

C-3PO proudly shuffled down the hallway. He'd been summoned by Mistress Leia. Obviously his Mistress had a task of great importance only he could handle.
He rounded the corner joining the flowing masses coming and going in the corridor. He gave polite nods and warm greetings to all passersby.
He shuffled up to his Mistress' aide, Zenith's, desk. "I am C-3PO human cyborg relations," he said formally. "I'm here to see Mistress Leia."
"Of course you are," Zenith said dryly. "Go right in."
"Thank you," Threepio said waddling into his Mistress' office.
"Threepio," Leia said rising from her seat behind her desk. "I'm glad you're here."
"After Artoo gave me your message, I came as quickly as I could," he said stiffly.
"You did fine," she assured him with a smile.
He nodded. "What can I do for you, Mistress?"
"I need you to check on Master Luke."
This wasn't the task he was expecting. In all honesty, he preferred it if his Mistress found someone else to check on Master Luke.
He wasn't too happy with Master Luke. Master Luke had always been so kind to him, and then he gave him (and R2) as token of good will to be servants of Jabba the Hutt.
It was the most wicked thing Master Luke could have done to him. And he still hadn't forgiven him.
Threepio shook his head. A peon could easily take care of checking on Master Luke. Surely his Mistress had a more important task than this for him to do.
"Threepio?"
He snapped to attention. "Yes, Mistress?"
Leia's eyes searched his face. "Do you have a problem with what I asked you to do?"
"No, Mistress," he said gravely. "Was there a message you wanted me to give him?"
Leia shook her head. "I need you to investigate something for me."
So she wanted him to spy for her. Now that was more like it. He became excited. He waited for her to tell him more.
"I want you to find out how bad the injury is to Master Luke's bionic hand."
"Master Luke has injured his bionic hand," he said worriedly. "Mistress, if I may Master Luke should take care of this injury right away."
Leia sighed, "I'm sure he knows that, Threepio."
He flushed with chagrin. He had overstepped his bounds again. "Forgive me, Mistress."
"Don't worry about it, Threepio," she waved it off. "Just find out what you can but be as discreet as possible."
Discreet? How did she expect him to do that when there was a Jedi Knight involved? She was asking the impossible.
"That'll be all, Threepio," she dismissed him.
"Yes, Mistress," he said shuffling out the door.
**
C-3PO pressed his golden finger on the grid outside Master Luke's apartment.
The buzzing sound echoed but the Jedi did not appear. Threepio rang the bell a second time.
Still, there was no answer.
It could very well be the Jedi wasn't home. Either that or Master Luke was playing a trick on him. He still hadn't figured out how he'd been able to perform magic on Endor.
Threepio shook his head. His Mistress would be most displeased if he came back with nothing to report.
He punched in the access code into the console, and Master Luke's apartment door slid open. He cautiously entered. His eyes had to adjust to the darkness of the deathly stillness of the apartment.
The gloomy atmosphere disturbed him. He had no desire to enter such a creepy place, so he proceeded with caution.
"Master Luke?" He called.
No answer. Apparently the Jedi wasn't home. But he wasn't sure of that. He continued to look for Master Luke as he made his way through the den and headed toward the back bedroom.
"Master Luke," he called again, peering around the Jedi's bedroom door.
Master Luke sat cross legged on the floor. His hands rested on his knees, and his eyes were closed. Clearly Master Luke was mediating. He began to retreat.
"Threepio," a quiet voice said from behind him.
The droid whirled, finding himself standing face to face with Master Luke. The encounter gave him quite a jolt.
Luke reached out to steady the droid. A gentle look was reflected in his blue eyes. "I didn't mean to startle you."
"I apologize for disturbing you, Sir," Threepio said sincerely.
"You didn't disturb me," Luke said moving to the couch where he sat down. "What can I do for you?"
"Well," Threepio said trying to recover his composure. "Mistress Leia sent me. She wanted to make sure you were okay."
"I'm fine," Luke said lightly.
"Are you sure, Sir?"
He leaned back against the couch's large cushion. A smile puffed up the corners of his lips. "Is there any reason I wouldn't be okay?"
"Forgive me, Sir," he apologized. "It's just that..."
"Forget it," Luke said waving it off. "You know I never did thank you for the excellent work you did when we rescued Han."
"That," he said glancing modestly down at his intertwined fingers. "It was nothing."
Luke's knuckle rested on his warm thoughtful smile. His bright mood swiftly changed to a worried one. "Trisha?" Luke murmured, his visage bored a ghostly pensive trancelike expression.
"Master Luke?"
Luke saw a fountain in front of a luxurious palace. Trisha, clad in a tight black dress/pants outfit that emphasized her slim, athletic figure, strode into the courtyard. Sensing something, she froze. She slowly turned. A tall gray droid had his long, thin weapon pointed directly at her.
"Prepare to meet your doom, Jedi," the droid growled menacingly.
"Trisha," Luke yelled, jumping to his feet as the vision faded.
"Master Luke, are you okay?" Threepio said worriedly.
He threw on his cassock. "I've got to go."
"Where?" Threepio asked, feeling more and more confused and flustered.
The question made him pause. He didn't really know.
"To see Leia," Luke said. If anyone could help him, she could.
"But, Sir," Threepio said worried that he messed up, followed the Jedi out the door. "Wait for me."
**
Luke charged breathlessly into Leia's office, followed by a worn out Threepio.
Leia shot a disapproving look at the droid. "Threepio, I told you to be discreet."
"It's not my fault, Mistress Leia," Threepio protested. "Master Luke has picked up a slight flutter. He keeps rambling on about going on some rescue mission."
"What's going on here?" Leia demanded her brother.
Luke looked desperate. "I need your help, Leia."
"Okay," Leia said remaining calm. "What's the problem?"
"Trisha's in trouble."
She read the clear meaning in her brother's eyes. "Then why are you still here?"
Frustration showed on his face. "I don't know where she is."
"Tell me what you saw," she said folding her hands on top of her desk.
"I saw a fountain in front of a luxurious palace."
Leia stroked her lips. There was something vaguely familiar about the place he described.
"That's Naboo," a quiet female voice informed them.
Luke turned, regarding Leia's aide, Zenith, who was standing in the doorway.
"What?" He said quietly.
"Naboo," Zenith repeated. "It's only a few parsecs away from here."
"Thank you," Luke said softly kissing her cheek before rushing out the door.
