We were stranded in Pucalpa, up on Peru's Ucayali River. There were only two options: Go back by bus over the Andes, or hire on a worn-out bulk carrier. We went for the second option....First part of a sequel

What an adventure! I'm envious. I've always wanted to travel the jungle rivers of Brazil and Peru. Thanks, Franz, for taking me along on your journey. I will be tracking you so that I may catch the rest of your story.
