She couldn't tell the truth.

The girl on the stand said I had a tattoo on my penis.  I do not.
The girl on the stand said I told her I loved her.  I did not.
The girl on the stand said I touched her breasts.  I didn't.
The girl on the stand said I placed my finger in her vagina.  No.
The girl on the stand said I made her touch me.  Never happened.
The girl on the stand said I forced her to "kiss my penis." Lie.
The girl on the stand said I kissed her breasts.  Nope.
The girl on the stand said I offered her alcohol.   No chance.
The girl on the stand lied.  The jury believed some of her story.

The jury thought she was lying about SOME things.  The jury thought her parents were lying about SOME things.  The jury thought her friend was lying about SOME things.  The jury thought that since she made a complaint, something MUST have happened.  The jury thought that teen-age girls don't just make these things up unless at least some of it is true .  The jury was wrong.

The sentence for CSC 4th degree (hand to breast)?  Nine months in jail.  Three months on a tether, and 28 years of probation.  "Did you say 28 years?" Yes.  3 years of reporting to a probation officer and 25 years of reporting to the local police department.  The sentence does not end until you are off the registry.

Over 1,000 applications placed in five years.  No job.  The only work is through family and friends.  You struggle to make ends meet.

Visits from the Child Protection Agency to make sure you are not abusing your children.  Visits by the State Police to make sure you're living where you say you're living.  If a child turns up missing in your neighborhood, you don't have a right to refuse a search of your own home.  No warrant needed.

Your neighbors tell their neighbors, who in turn tell their neighbors, who in turn tell their neighbors.  Dirty looks, nasty leers, backs turned.  You are no longer trusted or liked.  No halloween, no taking your kids to the playground, no going near a school. Don't frequent where kids congregate.  Stay away from our children.

The girl on the stand said I molested her.  She lied.
The girl on the stand ruined my life. She doesn't care.
The girl on the stand moves forward with not a care in the world. The accused is vilified.
The girl on the stand is the criminal.  I am the victim.
