Here is a quicky

WATERY GRAVE

My Death beneath the streaked bloody skies, beneath sparkling golden angels that trumpeted bubbling spirals of joy at my demise.

Even the blood red poppies that swayed about me whispered words of delight at my passing.

However from the dark distant forests to the north of Shalibar, blood curdling screams did emanate, and distress in waves rushed across the fields of lush summer flowers in dark bubbling cascades, that incinerated everything within its angry path, punishing them for their joy, punishing them.

And my soul did leap within my fox like body, my soul did leap within my badger like body, my soul did leap.

For deep within these dark waves my friends they came, wrapped within flowing pearl gowns, and shimmering ruby red robes, they began to shriek up at the skies cursing the angels, sending them whirling in clouds of pain to the lonely darkness of oblivion.

Joy now flooded through my body like rich opium pumping through my veins, and once again the shape of my body did change, now a black feathered beast I slowly unfurled my leathery wings, and my friends they instantly fell silent as they stared down upon my body. My wings when fully drawn back to the sides of my feathered shape exposed an enormous sparkling green eye that bulged watery from the centre of my heaving chest, unblinking. The eye to even my disbelief then began rapidly to change its colour, and like laser beams the colours did cut through the clouds above me, red, pink, purple, every colour imaginable spiralled up toward the skies.

My friends they began to weep at this site, they howled agonisingly, they stroked my face, bowing their heads before me. Their sadness I could not comprehend. They lifted me up then and slowly carried me within their arms back to the forests from whence they had come.

Once within the forest the colours lit up the trees around us, red trees, mauve trees, orange trees, and in awe I stared at this breathtaking site, but still my friends they cried and mourned as if death had already stolen me away from them. Where were we going? I had no idea, until all of a sudden we arrived at a clearing within the forest and situated within the heart of the clearing was a wonderfully peaceful pond of crystal clear water. They carried me to the edge of this pond and lifted me for some unknown reason with much effort high above the pool so that I could stare down into its depths. And they all fell silent around me as the realisation of my fate stared unblinkingly back at me. For now I had just become an eye, nothing more than just a huge blubbery solitary green eye.

But this horror was soon to be surpassed by a fresh horror that sent my mind whirling into the darkest despair, as they began to lower me into an everlasting watery grave.
