Where do dreams go
Dreamland
One night , when the moon was full and the stars were shining brightly, a mother was reading bedtime stories to her children.
" Mommy, asked young Cody , where do dreams go ?"
"Yes, tell us mommy ," little caitlyn said as she looked in her mother's eyes.
Ok, my children , I will tell you , but only if you go to sleep , for it is pass your bedtime already," she said as she snuggled up with her kids.
"Do you see that bright star , shinning outside the window ?"
"Yes," they both said as they looked.
"It all started long ago , when a magic fairy princess felt so sad for little children everywhere , that she wished upon a star that all good dreams would come true . Now one night when the town was sleeping , children snuggled in their beds, two young children had a dream. We know this because the children had told their parents after they woke up. The parents didn't believe them , however."
"Wow! What happened next ," Codey asked eagerly.
"In their dreams , they were carried away on a beautiful giant feather , to another place."
"Where was this place , mommy ?"asked Caitlyn.
"It was a place called Dreamland, where all good dreams came true .
Even the tiniest dreams. "
The children snuggled more closly to mom as she told the story .
Now these two children who had the dream was carried far far away on the beautiful feather to a place called Dreamland. The land was flowing with candy sparkles and mountain tops were dresses in sweet chocolate. There were streets made of taffy and houses made of honey grahams . The fences were white chocolate and the treess were all fruit flavored.
There was anything a child could want , and sometimes an adult too !
So the two children walked down the taffy road where they were greeted by candy people and licorice men . The children were very hungry so the candy people took them to a little honey grahm houses. They sat on hard candy chairs and ate from a big pudding bowl full of pudding. The ate and ate and ate until they became very sleepy. Soon they went to bed on a soft marshmallow bed. Morning came and all the candy people and the licorice men had a meeting.
"From this day forward , all dreams will come here as long as they are good dreams ." said the king candy man.
And so it were , the dreams all started going the Dreamland and children always had plenty , whether it was food clothes toys or just plain fun . When there dream was done and over , they were safely returned to their own little beds in the real world.
As mom looked down , she saw that Codey and Caitlyn were sound asleep .
"I guess they went to Dreamland , and I am going there too !" she said as she fell asleep in her own bed.
