Short story I did a while back.

I opened my eyes and saw the ocean in front of me. I felt the white sand between my toes, and smelled the salt water in the breeze.Out on the water I saw a ship floating alone. There were sails on the ship flying in the wind. One of the sails was the color green with a picture of a panther.

The ship was heading towards me, and I was nervous. Are they friend or foe? I looked around for a place to hide. Seeing a cave to my right, I headed that way.

The cave was dark and damp. I went deep into the cave, but could still see the beach. Soon the ship’s anchor was placed in the water, and I saw lifeboats lower to the water.

Two lifeboats full of people headed for the shore. The first boat hit the beach and out jumped a young man. He looked to be about a few years older than me. He was dressed like a pirate. He started yelling out orders to the others as they landed on shore. He looked around the beach until he saw the cave I was in. My heart jumped to my throat. He started to move towards the cave, but stopped when one of the men called to him. Watching him walk back I took a deep breath. I didn’t know what to do, soon it would be dark. So I decided to wait. Once the sun was down I listened for any sounds from the people who had set up camp at the edge of the trees. I quietly walked out of the cave towards the trees. My feet sank in the sand as I walked. I was just about to the tree line when a hand was placed over my mouth and an arm wrapped around my waist. And everything went black.

I opened my eyes and saw the blue greenish of my ceiling. I felt the wind blowing through my window. And hear the sound of the ocean. Thinking to myself was that a dream?
