I would like to take you on a journey to a most intriguing place. During this journey you will experience Life, Love, Faith, Hope, Sorrow, Loss, Light, Comfort, Heaven, and most of all Jesus Christ. This Journey begins in the presence of Jesus. Imagine meeting him, talking with him, and asking that life long question you may have had brewing in your mind and heart for sometime now. Imagine sitting with him on the hills of Galilee, breaking bread, and eating. Now imagine Jesus walking with you beside a stream, strolling with you through a forest path, and praying with you after dark. Do you sense the love all around you? Are you content, unworried, and unafraid? Now you are on a fantastic start to finding this journey fulfilling. “Imagine for a Moment” if you will.

Now a new journey begins climbing the stairway to Heaven where you can walk with Jesus again, and speak with him concerning the time you have spent on this Earth. You are both discussing “The Book of Life” (or Book of Days). Is your life’s review pleasing to him, or are you ashamed of things you have done? Jesus then looks on you lovingly, sits you down, and begins to comfort your fears since you gave your life to him. He knows you will stumble, and fall sometimes, but as long as you look to him again, ask for forgiveness, he is ready, and willing to accept you unconditionally again.

We go on to the next journey where an “Angel Close By” is going to accompany you. This Angel is here to comfort you when it is time for you to soon go home to be with God. This Angel is your guardian, you comforter, and your best friend. This Angel will be by your side through everything you can’t even imagine, and this Angel will be there always as promised.

Another pathway on this journey we must take before our journey ends is the one where we are “Leaving Earth Behind” to go to our new home that God has prepared for us in Heaven. It is time to rest, leave all our earthly possessions, and loved ones behind for now, and spend eternity with God. It is a beautiful place to go to after living our lives here on Earth. It is peaceful, serene, full of love, light, and Gods everlasting love.

Our journey has ended, but our souls will go on, if we but give our hearts to Jesus. He has promised this to us over and over again, and I take God at his word. Can you even begin to imagine the Family reunion that will take place when we arrive in Heaven on our final destination? Won’t you join me today in the Promised Land, and walk hand in hand with the Lord today?

Journey with me for a moment
To the unseen world of happiness
Imagine on this trip we take
God in your very midst

A time when sorrow leaves you
When despair is not around
A time where all your troubles
Have gone, and can't be found

Feel that moment of release
Disease, and sickness gone for good
Please take this journey with me
It's possible that you could!

Feel the warmth, and care of Jesus
As you ascend toward Heavens Door
Illuminating all around you
Is Gods love forevermore

Just think if you should miss this
How unhappy you would be
Scared, and in total darkness
For all eternity

Jesus is patiently waiting
For you to come back home
Don't miss it, come to Jesus
So you will never be alone

Your life is right before you
Get close to God, and you shall see
That when your time is over
It's with Jesus you'll forever be.
