One hundred years ago,there lived a little girl. She lived with her parents in a old house up on a hill. It was reported to be haunted by the spirit of a black cat. No one would go near the old house. The little girl was very lonely.
Now her mother used to send her to an old cellar,which was under the house,to get her some potatoes. When the little girl entered the old cellar,she heard a noise at the bottom of the stairs. So she ran away to go tell her mother. The little girl's mother didn't believe her and sent her back to get the potatoes she had asked for. Again the little girl ran away when she heard a shriek in the old cellar. Again the little girl's mother didn't believe her and sent her back to the old cellar to fetch her the potatoes she had asked for. When the little girl got there,she saw at the bottom of the cellar stairs,a black cat looking at her. With a shriek she ran back to her mother to tell her what she had seen. This time the mother went to see for herself what all the fuss was about. When they both got there,the mother noticed a hole in the wall. So she went and got her husband who knocked down the wall with an axe. Inside they found the mummified remains of a black cat and it's owner. The lady of the house on haunted hill. She had gone missing one night,one hundred years before. Now how do you suppose she got there? And her black cat? No one knows,except maybe,the woman's husband who had long since passed away.
