I saw the death charge of the Cape Buffalo from the corner of my eye just seconds after I heard the bellow and snort of the charge. His rage at the intrusion on his territory was evident as the dust flew behind his hoofs, the hot breath bounced from his nostrils as he charged with his head down.

| Great story, John, the pace never slackens. I don't think I'd have managed forty minutes without panicking, especially with a river full of crocs behind me! |
