PROCRASTINATION PIZZA
Success – One-Slice-at-a-Time
Imagine ordering six large pizzas for a party and due to bad weather, no one shows up. What do we do with all this pizza? We can try eating all six pizzas in one night, or we can eat a few slices can and save the rest in the refrigerator or the freezer for another time. It is the same scenario when we have four large textbooks and we need to read a chapter or two from each one. Trying to read and absorb all the information in one day can be overwhelming. Therefore it’s much better to do little bit of reading each day throughout the week.

Do-It-Now Donuts
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The act of procrastination is also much like eating a donut. Think of a fresh, hot donut that just came out of the oven. The first day you eat the donut, it is very tasty. However, if you leave the donut out for a few hours it becomes cold. Then the next day, the donut hardens and it's difficult to eat. After a few weeks, the donut is as hard as a rock.
The same thing happens when you procrastinate on a difficult task. The longer you wait, the harder it becomes to get started. Therefore, you should try to get things completed as soon as possible. However, if you decide to put if off for the next day, like the donut, things pile up and life gets harder! A few more delays and things become harder. The longer you procrastinate the harder it will be to accomplish them. This usually leads to unnecessary stress.
