beware of voices mongering half-truths ...

From afar; an elusive shift commutes the air pressure.
The vox of ancestral wisdom has arrived to commiserate with you about your struggles. “Come to this high mountain with me and I will show you all that can be yours if you but trust and worship me.” And with eagerness you agree to something you can’t really comprehend and because you feel its right; you open up your soul and heart to disturbing forces.

Before long you are worshipping the creation and not the Creator.
And you are also paying heed to all the intriguing persuasions that require your acceptance to empower them. With eagerness you oblige the voices in an effort to better yourself. With compelling lines of reasoning the mellifluous entity convinces you of a higher calling and of the success that will be yours if you just become the willing student of a different kind of religious doctrine.

Of course, then, if you accede, you become a puppet to an ancient spirit that has deceived you into believing that you are a very old soul filled with wisdom and discernment. HA! This speck of leaven, delivered undeniably, will grow to infect your mannerisms, perceptions, verbosity and, without even knowing it, you will soon become the outspoken homo harbinger of a spiritual deception; the living newspaper of another’s conjuration; the colorless aberrant blossoms of a fictitious spring, a well of sourwater.

Arrogantly you disgorge exanimate constructs designed to empower those who believe they are gods too, and convince those, willing, that their strength is in the exclusion of all the prejudicial factors around them. You have been assured that you are a god that will recycle for millennia, until you are perfected and then, and only then, will you be allowed to ascend to a HIGHER PLANE!

Cozened by shadow voices, and striving to stand above all the rest, this newfound pride has made you moribund to the profound needs of lesser humanity; you are something different, of an imagined higher plane.

Your mannerisms, your thoughts, your visual appearance, your expressions, are constantly in a state of flux. YOU ARE NOT YOU ANYMORE! You are beginning to appear and smell and sound like the Baalram that has taken sanctuary inside of you; who - with a calculated perfidy - has made you its KNUCKLE DOWN SLAVE to promote felonious ideologies and age old lies to entrap the unguarded.

To justify the constant war that rages in you, you create your own truths - those things that work for you – and you try to rewrite what Truth really is; inerrant, eternal, resurrected, alive, and never changing. Seen now as a fool - prideful and reckless - you become the puppet harbinger for a clear departure from morality, honor, justice, and the Truth of all ages; just another cozened dupe who has willingly become the flesh and blood condominium for an ancient spiritual deception.

A spirit has targeted your heart and mind and, in your zeal to fare successful, you have given it license to make your body and mind a warm place of rest. Insidiously; the shadowed trespass becomes a disgorge of pernicious cerebrations; aggrandizing all that you have become; deprecating all except those that agree and abide your perversions, delusions, and lascivious behavior.

Soon you are molding others with mooted words, and the dulcet stench of platitudes meant to further your own personal agendas. Eventually, as the withering of late autumn leaves, your DESICCATING HEART curls inward to worship self and all that you can connive to lavish upon your lusting flesh from the ever evolving, ungrounded, world system.

So, when your spirit friends, partying inside you, become wearied of you, and they discard you like yesterdays refuse, what then?

Cool Ca-ca actually fell along these lines! HA!

"...as the withering of late autumn leaves, your DESICCATING HEART curls inward to worship self..." this line did it for me, my friend...the imagery and wisdom embeds in my soul like a branding iron!
I don't want to be a slave, but, dammit, I am...and therefore, white knuckled I'm branding my own templates for all to see, hear, taste, touch and yes, cool ca-ca...even smell! Someone has to make sense of it all!
Love and Peace~

Man, you have kicked ass with this one. I see so much behind the words that it scares the hell out of me. I used to say, well, I know what is happening, but I'm too old to fo anything and besides it'll never happen in my life time.

It is happening in my life time, Richard.

I also used to think about the German people who were force-fed half truths and out and out lies. why couldn't they have "gotten" it? How did they allow themselves to be so duped. I understand now. In our case the reason so many in this country are "duped," is because of the complete takeover of the public school system and elite colleges for the last forty years at least. The young minds full of mush have been molded and shaped and we have forty decades of almost illiterate genius' who are part and parcel one of the real reasons what is happening has been allowed to happen. The rest? We are demonized to such an extent when we try to ring the alarm many just give up and accept the inevitable. I am fond of saying Nero is fiddlin', but now he had the whole damn band with him and things are NOT looking good. Thank you for writing this.

Sure hope i am not one of them. I pray my heart is truthful and TRULY following God, the one true God.

Well done Richard, and certainly gives us pause to look inside ourselves.

bless you,
ann
