"Reality is what seems to be reality".

This is the story about the woman who had an invisible dog, the woman who knew that reality is what seems to be reality.

The neighbours in the highhouse had complained about the dog many times. They assured her about that he was shitting in the corridor and barking loudly when she wasn´t at home. And once they told her that he had bit a little child in the garden. In her desperation the woman decided to find a new home for the dog.

- Ding, dong.

"Wouldn´t you kindly take care of this beautiful dog? He has no home, this poor animal, but he is so kind, so kind."

- What? She crazy? Mad? She was just looking for someone who cared for animals. Wouldn´t they allow her just to take a look at the apartment?

But then they usually slammed the door into her face. Just a few wanted to see the dog and then she showed them a beautiful picture she had found in a paper.

"Somehow like that, but probably a little bit more furry."

Then they laughed loud and asked her for Gods sake to leave.

How strange they were. She who were just an ordinary woman. Perhaps a little freckled but nothing else. Just an ordinary woman. Yes, how strange they were.

But she didn´t give up. Day in and day out she walked between different houses. She explained for them how fantastic runner he was, how sensitiv to smells and so loyal.

"For example. He smells the new baked cake before entering the house. " Couldn´t he taste it? Just a small bite?

But people laughed and told her that they didn´t talk to insane people.

Sometimes the dog smelt coffee, but then people just laughed louder.

"Dogs don´t drink coffee."

How did they know?

She didn´t count how often they were turned down and even when the poor dog was starving in her mind. But all the same how rude they were, he never barked this amazing animal.

It was so at last when she came to the psychologist that she met someone who understood the problem.

At first she thought that the man were crazy, but when he bent down and patted the dog, she understood that this was the one she had been looking for all the time. She was released. At last he was found. The man asked them in, gave the dog a bone and her coffee and biscuit. She had to gnaw the bone as the dog had lost his teeth. The man was a psychologist and understood every problem. He gave her dogmeat he kept in his refrigerator.

In a few days she and the dog moved into this man´s house and they had a good winter together.

But in the summertime they felt that they really needed to go abroad where the sun was warmer and the nights longer. But what could they do with the dog. They couldn´t leave him alone, could they? After having thought this over and over they finally made a decision. They decided that the dogs lifetime was over as he now had lost all his teeth and was old and tired. The woman said farewell to his friend and cried a lot, but she was sure that this was the only right to do. She and the man really needed to have a good time for themselves after such a cold and long winter.

And -

that was the end of the invisible dog.
