HaltAbuse.org News: This morning, I filed my first criminal cyber-harassment case: with the Butte County California District Attorney. This case involves a client who has been harassed and threatened for two years by a group of individuals who operate two Yuku websites. The client has repeatedly posted demands that the harassment be stopped. The harassing individuals have gone so far as to threaten the client's life. The client has also filed several complaints with the legal department of Yuku, the company hostng the two offending websites, all to no avail. Yuku is best known for hosting the well-known "ezboard" sites. Having exhausted all other means of getting relief, now it becomes a criminal court process. This issue should never have had to go to this extent. However, I am happy to have had the opportunity to render this service for the client and for HaltAbuse.org.

Really good that you are there for the client, Ted. The entire thing sounds frightening. We writers ourselves want the world to know our work, but certainly leave ourselves vulnerable and exposed to that same world. Terrible that they even became life threatening.George, below, makes a good point in his review too...Jerry

Whenever I post something of this nature, it is non-fiction. Even as we speak, emails are flying between me and the Butte County DA's office investigator, and my client. Picture me with tight fists, using my writing skills to bring a major website host company (Yuku) to heel. I write most of my poems and stories for fun. I attack the BIG GUYS for real, and I only have one rule: I Win!

How many times we haven't heard about "we can't do nothing until after the fact crime"? It is time for the politicians to take their fingers from their asses and start treating the criminals not with those silk gloves and talk about rehabilitation (tell it to the next victim and see what you get) and pass laws that will be mandatory for those creeps to see life until the end of it through windows with solid bars. (and not giving a third strike a man for taking a joy ride in a bicycle not his own, camon! give us a break!)
Congratulations to WHO@ and hope they don't get a bleeding heart Judge.
