Story poem about Grace
The Most Valuable Commodity
The most valuable commodity the world has seen
Is not gold nor myrrh nor emeralds green
And diamonds and silver come nowhere near
That which is offered to all free title and clear.
Uranium and Plutonium desired by many
Are not worth the trouble not worth a penny
Compared with what is given free at the table
This substance more sure infinitely stable.
And digging for Opals way down in the dirt
Can only give blisters and ruin your shirt.
Buying and selling appeals to most
While racing offers riches at the winning post.
There is money and power in things of the land
But nothing will last nor be quite so grand
As the Grace God gives to all those who ask
Where effort is not needed not even one task.
For Grace is given freely though it cost God so dear
It cost Him His son on Calvary out there
But with money you wont buy a more valuable thing
Than this Grace God gives when your life you bring.
Your riches are worthless not even one penny
For to heaven you cannot take all or take any
So seek after Grace first before gold
And you will find riches completely untold.
The story that must be told
