Mom's new beau is Elvis Presely? No, just a big fan of Elvis.

Well one day, mom met some of the neighbors. A couple, who supposedly were a brother and sister, befriended her. The lady had several kids. My brother and I became friends with them. The man, well he dressed like Elvis, and loved his music. He drove a Chevy Impala, colored red. This man even had Dice hanging from the rear view mirror. A total fan of Elvis.
For some reason this couple seemed to be over friendly with each other. Mom wonder why? Then one day, after a short period of time, they told mom, they were lovers. They just didn't like people to know the truth at first. I still don't know why till this day.
Mom was upset at the two lovers, but she later forgave them. After subsequent time had passed, this man/Elvis impersonator, started to have some feelings for mom. Especially because she was a hottie, and a very nice person. The fact that she could cook well helped alot too. I did not really like the thought of this man being more than a friend to my mom.
This man, who liked my mom, broke it off with his then girl friend. There was some serious tension going on. Girl look out! Don't mess with our mom! HE! HE! Seriously now, mom won out in the end. Mom started to date this man. It was so hard for me to like him.
Mom your new beau is Elvis Presely? He evened dyed his hair black to look like him. Wow! Little at a time, I started to get to know him, and was okay with mom's new love. Then one day, he moved in. Mom's live in friend, a crazy lady, moved out. For she was jealous of my mom, and her new beau.
Mom and her new beau were a good couple, who liked to dress like they were back in the 60's. "Oh boy, those where the good ole days." That is what they would usually say.
As time passed, their love for each other grew stronger. Then one day, mom's ex-husband came to visit her.
Can you believe he wanted her back?
Well, that didn't work out. Mom was in love with her new Beau. But she was still flattered by the thought that her former husband wanted her back.
We all eventually packed up to move closer to mom's new beau's home town.
This was another hard time for me, for I had to get use to having no friends again. The thought of meeting his family scared me too. Life did have it's up and downs through out the years. My brother and I did have to get use to being in a new family. But I'm glad that mom, and now, new step-dad, eventually got married, and gave my brother, and I, two beautiful little sisters. Sometimes I still make fun of Step-dad's love for Elvis, but in nice way. Many strange, fun, and exciting things happened to us through out the years, I hope to tell you of them soon.
