a silly story about a close encounter of the weird kind and what is that strange
attraction of the drive up window and those golden arches at the midnight hour?

There were no stories, no ideas, not really, not yet.
Only the darkness, the candle, the stars.

A little dog named Sandy wanders the fence, sniffing the grass. He reaches the gate and stops. The sound the neighbor's dog barking breaks the silence.

Sandy waits, looking up at the stars.

Waiting for something known only to him alone.

A beam of light speeds across the sky for a split second, then stops right above Sandy. It hovers, as if to ponder this strange creature below.

Before the little dog has a chance to bark, he is enveloped in a white light and transported up to the alien craft.

The little dog's heart beats furiously. Unable to move or
bark, fear grips tightly.

A door opens into a large white room. Sandy is curious.

The beam of light lifts off his little body and he scurries around his new surroundings.

An instinct takes over.

Sandy walks over to the strange grey people and sniffs their feet.

the alien asks his leader.

(A lower class mammal that eats, pees and poops and sometimes
listens, yes!)

"ek;uraoiweruwlkm weoiruewoirue ieouw!!"

(It's a dog, you lamebrain! now what are we going to do with it?"

Sandy looks back and forth at these strange creatures jabbering in some wierd words, he doesn't understand.

Sandy barks loudly!

The aliens smile..

"oui, klsdfjoiweur oiewurewopriuew ajodiu9oiewruwiwi !!!"

(Yes, we speak skunk, dog, cat and parakeet but never human! Where would you like to go little doggie?)

"Bark, bark, barkity bark bark!", Sandy replies.

"jdkfuwp9oie wieur9qwpe8r eiruwep98rq209r woieurwp9er!!"

(Oh, I heard that restaurant has 5 stars!! A very fine choice!
We shall take you there now, my shaggy, stinky friend!"

"Bark, bark, barkity bark bark!!"

"Oui, kslduewoir qiwoe8ur098j 2308q3u0p382djsjmlerurq0p9 slei!!!"

(Yes, you can have fries with your happy meal and a toy!"

Sandy did a flip and then ran around the room on two feet?

"Bark, bark, barkity bark!!"

"Oui, joi8urq984u aieoruq2pe3487q230r ajioe3w4uq23094ufjaslfk!!"

(Yes, I like those golden arches but I always have to burp after
I drink a coca cola too!!"

Sandy looked out the spaceship window to the golden arches below

Happiness like the rainbow envelops the spaceship with lightning fast customer service of the happy people of McDonalds.

The lady at the window sings the old famous song from

"Get your bucket and mop!
Clean the bottom and top!
Wipe the burger machine
Make this whole kitchen clean!
You deserve a break today!
So get up and get away
To McDonalds!"

Bark, bark, barkity bark!!

And there are no words to express the sheer delight
Sandy experiences as he bit into that double cheeseburger and fries and sipped the Coca Cola---All while all the aliens watch every bite.

You see, Sandy never learned to share ANYTHING.

There was one fry left in the bag and Sandy reached for it only to find a laser gun in his face.

"ieoruier oiewurqp9r wieroewpr waioeucakjo!!"

(If you touch that french fry, I will blow your head off!)

Bark, bark barkity bark!

Make my day aliens!!!

Sandy bit into the last fry and the last thing
he saw was a beautiful beam of light heading
toward his face.

Bark, barkkkkk.........

There were no stories, no ideas, not really, not yet.
Only the darkness the candle, the stars....

and a dead dog named Sandy...
