This is about my experiences as a child with mirrors in department stores.
It also tells how I was once ashamed to look at myself in the mirror because I had been crying.

When I was little, my mother would take me shopping in various department stores.  The stores had the type of mirrors where I could see myself from all different directions and angles.  I was perfectly happy just sitting in my stroller and looking at myself.  It was as if I was in several places at once.
Ironically, when I got older I became uncomfortable with looking at myself in a mirror, because many times my eyes were red from crying.  At this time my home life was not very happy.  However, things changed when I moved into my own
apartment.  Now I am no longer ashamed to look at myself in a mirror, even if it is not the kind in department stores.
