This is another prayer included in my book, Living with Victory After Past Mistakes.

A Prayer to God:

Dear God,

I thank you for blessing my life and leading me in the path of righteousness.

I have ran with the footmen, and I have not grown weary,

Therefore, I can contend with the horses for you are with me.

I will run the race to obtain the crown,

For I know that you are in every place.

I thank you for allowing me this time and space

Just to say I love you each and everyday.

In Jesus Name, Amen

This sounds like those prayers just before bed and the being this is from the heart... the words resonate even more...

Sometimes the simplest of prayers are the ones that will avail. Very touching and to the point.
