This story is about a Young girl by the age of 16, she has the perfect life and perfect boyfriend, before it all comes crashing down. Her mom becomes missing and she doesnt know how to deal

This is only half the story, It takes place about half way in the middle.

Sorry guys. =[

She sat on her bed still awake from the last thunder that roared. “Man this is ridiculous” she said running her hand through her soft dark brown hair. “Grace?” her mom said behind the closed door “yes, mom?” she said putting her hair behind her ears “what are still doing awake? It’s almost midnight!” Grace opened her door slowly “I couldn’t sleep.” Her mom brushed her bangs out of her face “Did you have another bad dream?” Grace rolled her eyes “No, mom” her mom gave her one of those looks Grace hated “okay, well try to go back to sleep.” Her mom said going back to her room. Grace turned back into the darkened room and closed the bedroom door behind her. She stood by the window looking down at the street, she saw the young new neighbors pull in their driveway they just got married and Grace thought they were absolutely weird. The husband got home later, than he usually did on a Friday night. Grace figured he was just working late. Grace closed her orange and purple curtains that always made her gag, but she only has them to make her mom feel better. Grace went to her computer and turned it on; there was an instant message on the screen from Landon, her boyfriend.

Landon: “what are you still doing up, love?
Grace: “I couldn’t sleep.”
Landon: “me either.”
Grace: “Are we still going to the creek tomorrow?”
Landon: “yes, why wouldn’t we?”
Grace: “I don’t know, just making sure I guess”
Landon: “Oh, okay :D”

Grace and Landon talked for almost an hour, then Grace said her goodbyes and went to bed for the night.

The next morning Grace got up and went down stairs to the kitchen, there was no scent of bacon and eggs being made. Made Grace suspicious. Finally she found a note on the counter that said;

“Grace,
Went to store. Be home later.
Love, mom”
Grace wadded up the paper and threw it in the trash. She went to the pantry and got out cereal and made her a bowl, she went upstairs and sat the bowl on her desk and went to her closet and opened the white and purple doors. She mumbled to herself “I need to go shopping” as she was fumbling through the hung up shirts. She wore her usual, Black shirt, and ripped jeans. She went to her windows and opened the curtains. She noticed there was a strange car sitting below. She ignored it and went back to her soggy cereal that made her want to vomit. She took it down stairs and watched it go down the garbage disposal. The phone rang and she ran to it hoping it was her mom. She answered it. It was Landon, he called to tell her he couldn’t make it today his mother is making him go to his sister’s baby shower. Grace hung the phone disappointed.

Grace called her mom’s cell phone, but didn’t get an answer. She got mad and threw the phone across the kitchen, she heard it hit the wall. “DAMN IT” Grace said as she went to the phone to examine it. She didn’t break it, and she was relieved. She went back upstairs finding herself crying, she really didn’t know why she was crying. She tried to call her mom again, still no answer. Grace knew there was something wrong, she became angry and scared at the same time. She called Landon knowing he was busy, the phone rang and he answered on the second ring. “Hello, grace?” “Landon, I need you I’m a mess right now” Landon cut her off, “Grace, what’s wrong??” “I don’t know, I’m just upset please come get me???” Landon began to sound worried, “OK, I’ll be right there!” Grace stuttered as she was trying to say “OK”

Landon arrived five minutes later. Grace ran out the front door running into his arms. “Grace, what’s the matter?” “I think something is wrong with my mom” she said in a teary voice, “What do you mean? I don’t understand” Landon said while whipping the tear coming down from Grace’s face, “My mom left about 4 hours ago to go to the store and she hasn’t been back yet, she won’t answer her phone” Landon begin to speak but got cut off by Grace, “I’M SO WORRIED, LANDON!!!!” Landon pulled her closer to him and hugged her so tight. “Landon, please do something.” Landon met his bluish grey eyes with her Pale green eyes. “Baby, what am I suppose to do?” Grace found him hesitating to tell her no, “Just tell me you can’t, Don’t lie to me” Landon looked at her with confusion “I don’t know what to do, Grace” Grace began to talk but failed, Landon began to talk once more “She could be coming home right now, she probably ran into someone she knew, and forgot to turn on her phone.” Landon tried to explain.
Grace knew it that’s not right, her mom always had on her phone this wasn’t like her mother, not at all.

Intriguing, I have to know what happens now;-)
You do need to keep an eye on your punctuation though, especially the use of capital letters during dialogue.
I enjoyed this. Keep writing.
Jessica.
