Let me tell you a little story about a girl
Who found love
Who found life
Who found herself

A timid, naïve girl
Who was always scared to speak her mind
But kind to everyone she came in contact with
She had a gift of making people smile

Sunshine, they would call her
Always happy
Well, at least after he came into her life

He opened her eyes
He helped her see the beautiful person that she (for some reason) could not see
He helped her find strength from within her being
He made her feel like a woman

He brought out things in her that she didn't even know existed
She began to explore things that she once resisted
He insisted that she get those twisted thoughts out of her head
He said, You inspired me to be a better man

She was very misunderstood
Most people couldn't see the good in her
But all he saw was beauty

When he looked into her eyes he saw nothing but surprise
Like a wide-eyed child in a candy store
He found that so adorable
She was always up for an adventure
Ready to take on the world
With him by her side everything was perfect
There was nothing she wouldn't do
Her love for him was true
She drew this picture in her head of their future
She knew that it was a bit premature
But after all that they had been through you couldn't tell her that he wouldn't always be there

But…
Then he was gone
And she had to move on
But her relationship was not time wasted
Instead, she embraced the memory of happiness

She realized that she was happy with him because she was happy with herself
She found the greatest love of all

You can't tell a person how to love you if you don't know how to love yourself
She was searching for love in every place but the right place
But now she can face the world with a brand new outlook on life

People come into your life for many reasons
Maybe it was her season to learn how to love
To learn to let go of fear
and allow someone near
(to her heart)

Sure there were cries after the good-byes
But she realized that it wasn't good-bye
She just had to learn one of life's many lessons

But she is still searching for answers…

Beautiful writing. I will buy the book but, my spirit is able to hear you with-out details. Keep writing. From The Mother of The Universe. Thank you,

You have a very interesting style here and a real good story of growth and development. You told the general story but skipped a lot of the details...and the details often make the story. I hope you expand this, as there's a lesson in here for everyone.
