Why should i be considerate
"You don't deserve me,just let me go",she said."But what did i do wrong?I love you very much, please don't leave me.She replied,as tears gushing from her eyes"I love you, but you are not considerate"
"What is that?I know i am always considerate towards others."You never think honey"What is there to think?I was quite confuse. She gazed at me,"look it up in the dictionary.
That night i could not sleep, i was searching the web, looking for the meaning."Considerate-uhm.. "showing concern for the rights or feelings of others.
The next morning i told my lover, i am always considerate, just tell me what i did wrong. She said"you hardly appreciate me, never thanked me,you hardly do anything, its always about you,you".Uhm."Ouch!!,what a blow to my ego."
As always, being a bit egoistic, i said "you can talk to me,i cannot read your thoughts".She said "in life you have to think of others, you cannot go through life without thinking."Yikes!Another blow to my smart-ass brain"Argh..what can i do,being a man,i am defeated by her charms and i'm crazy about her.The thought of losing her would kill me."Please forgive me, i will change".I will help you with the chores and i promise that i will wake up early".
Sometimes in life, communication is not the only key.You have to understand one another and compromise.I never thought that a simple "thank you" would brighten my lover's day.Sometimes, words is not enough to express yourself. You have to watch the body language too.Amazing! You really have to THINK in order to make the relationship works.WoW!
I thought there's a special day to express your love or gratitude like valentine's day, mother's day, father's day. Now, i know everyday is valentine's day, mother's day or father's day.I will value and be considerate more towards my loved ones.
Ahh..love is complicated but its good to have love rather than nothing at all.I'm glad she forgave me..

|After the "first blush" wears off new love, being considerate is, I would say, 80% of keeping it going! I've been married 42 years and my husband still kisses my toes. Now, I will admit where I lie on the couch, they are sticking out, so that it is easy for him to lean down and kiss. I thrill! And I keep my nails polished bright throbbing red! Happy writing. Linda|
