A Fairy Lesson

I was challenged to write a short story containing 55 words.

Touching the water as she glided atop with graceful balance, she glimpsed the tall stranger. Gazing her wondrous flight, "I must try." He sank quickly and not to soon, she swiftly touched his hands and placed him on land. She smiled briefly, "Though we can do many things, there are some that we should not."

wonderful little story. i try to do something like this at least once a month on the back of a small slip of paper i turn in at the end of each work day. a fantastic little challenge.

I was once told by a doctor to put what I had to say in ten words or less. Therefore the inspiration for a character in my second book. I could never do a story like that.
