The Ghost Of The Girl Who Always Waited
By Aditi Surendra
Monday, February 18, 2002

The following is a short story. It’s a fiction. It’s about a girl and her father. I got the idea of the story on 24th December 2001 when I was waiting for my father to come home so we could have dinner together. I pictured the ghost of a girl in a gown sitting at the window waiting for her father to come home even after a century!
This is a very simple story. It is not true and did not take place in the age when the kings ruled nor did it take place when the Nazis ruled. Anyway the time does not really matter It is the girl’s love for her father that does.
