legoless says:

Hey Sus I can't believe it's really you

SusieQ says:

yeah, I can't believe I am actually getting to talk to you

legoless says:

where are you now?

SusieQ says:

Amirillo Texas

SusieQ says:

You should be getting postcards soon

legoless says:

kewl I can't believe I can't go next door and see you, I am about to go crazy my best friend is so far away

SusieQ says:

me too.

SusieQ says:

I am so afraid, to be honest.

egoless says:

I bet

SusieQ says:

what if I am not able to make any friends in Nashville. What if after all this, my uncle doesn't even like me? What if his kids make fun of me?

egoless says:

I dont think you have to worry about not making friends, you already got friends in Nashville, Johnny and Ronee

SusieQ says:

I feel like I hardly know them

legoless says:

But I know the fear of being afraid of being made fun of

legoless says:

you will get to know them I am sure

SusieQ says:

I have been made fun of so often

legoless says:

I've been made fun of too Sus, or told I am faking it, kids used to intentionally try to hurt me to see if they could cause pain, I don't think I told anyone but Mom and Dad that before

SusieQ says:

wow, that's horrible

legoless says:

yeah but I stopped letting them get to me

legoless says:

if they saw they got to me then it only got worse

SusieQ says:

I haven't even told anyone some of the stuff that happened to me when I was in public school

legoless says:

yeah its scary isnt it

legoless says:

I am glad I am being homeschooled now

legoless says:

some people think kids who are homeschooled are to sheltered, but I don't think that way

SusieQ says:

me either, no one could ever say I am sheltered

SusieQ says:

I am so tired of being in the car

legoless says:

I dont blame you

legoless says:

Is the hotel you are staying at tonight nice?

SusieQ says:

I mean, I am just sick to my stomach over the idea of arriving in Tennesse but at the same time, I just want out of this car.;

legoless says:

yeah I understand that

SusieQ says:

it's pretty nice. Between all seven of us, we have two hotel rooms

legoless says:

that's good

SusieQ says:

yeah

legoless says:

it would be hard to all be smashed into one

SusieQ says:

poor Michelle and Melissa, they still look at us like we are going to hurt them

SusieQ says:

I feel so bad for them

legoless says:

thats horrible what they went through

legoless says:

me 2

SusieQ says:

yeah, I know, b.c I went through the same stuff

SusieQ says:

I am really wishing now we had never left California

SusieQ says:

Mom is trying not to show it, but she isn't happy about this move either

SusieQ says:

and I know she is upset about her own impending surgery. It's nothing to sneeze at

SusieQ says:

Rebekah Rachel?

legoless says:

sorry Mom needed me for a second

legoless says:

she said to say hi btw

SusieQ says:

tell her hello for me

SusieQ says:

really, I am torn, I want to make new friends and be "normal" in Tennessee, but at the same time I can't help but think what if we get uprooted again right after I am settled there? What if they move us even farther away from you than I already will be?:

SusieQ says:

I guess this is what I get for having a doctor for a step dad

legoless says:

yeah I bet, its pretty bad when you have a Dad for a lawyer

SusieQ says:

really? why is that?

legoless says:

not bad, hes just always busy

SusieQ says:

oh, ok

SusieQ says:

at least his job isn't always moving him

legoless says:

no hes a partner in the firm so thats a good thing, we were going to move to the valley but we didnt have to

SusieQ says:

yeah

SusieQ says:

I think you ought to move to Tennessee

legoless says:

I wouldnt mind it acutally

SusieQ says:

not only would you be closer to me, you would be closer to Johnny

SusieQ says:

I really wish you would move to Tenneessee, it would make me feel so much better about all this

legoless says:

I know, I wish I could

SusieQ says:

it's so horrible, everything that is going on.

SusieQ says:

and now I am crying again. I have cried myself to sleep every night since we left

legoless says:

yeah I know, and I am sorry

legoless says:

I wish I were there to help you

SusieQ says:

me too

SusieQ says:

at least no one is here to see me losing it again

legoless says:

You should get some rest really, it has to be late, and I know you have a long day of travelling, do you think you will be somewhere tomorrow night you can talk to me?

SusieQ says:

Mom is in the other room putting the little ones down for the night.

SusieQ says:

I don't know, but I know I will at least send you a post card

SusieQ says:

we are supposed to arrive in Tennesse on Thursday

legoless says:

wow its after twelve they aren't doiwn yet?

legoless says:

wow

SusieQ says:

and we will be staying w. my uncle until our stuff arrives and we can get it all moved in

SusieQ says:

they were hyped up tonight

legoless says:

yeah I understand that

SusieQ says:

Mom has been trying to get them down since 9:30

legoless says:

I bet, probably pent up energy from the road trip

legoless says:

dang and its twelve thirty there

SusieQ says:

Michelle and Melissa are sleeping the worst of the little ones, they still have nightmares

SusieQ says:

I have been sleeping very little myself

legoless says:

ugh thats not good

SusieQ says:

and I haven't told mom but I feel a kidney infection coming on. I hope I don't land in the hospital as a way of starting life in Tenneessee

legoless says:

ugh not good Sus, drink lots of cranberry juice

SusieQ says:

I have been

SusieQ says:

and I have been cathing more often too

SusieQ says:

Mom knows something is up, but she thinks I am just depressed, and that is part of it, to be honest.

SusieQ says:

she has so many worries of her own, she can't focus on me too much

SusieQ says:

she is facing major surgery once we are settled in

legoless says:

well if you are really getting sick you should let your Mom know

SusieQ says:

well, there isn't anything we can do about it until we get to Tenneessee

legoless says:

Sus you should really be getting some sleep and I need to call it a night myself, I have p.t at seven a.m tomorrow

SusieQ says:

I am so overwhelmed, you would not believe.

SusieQ says:

yeah, we are leaving around 5 in the morning, so I should lay down too

legoless says:

I bet, I would be too

legoless says:

yeah thats less than five hours for you all, you better be laying fown

SusieQ says:

I will call you if we have internet in the room tomorrow night. We will be in Oklahoma City

SusieQ says:

I will call you if we have internet in the room tomorrow night. We will be in Oklahoma City

SusieQ says:

and we can talk again

legoless says:

that would be great

SusieQ says:

this has helped me to feel at least a little bit better

SusieQ says:

well, mom just came to help me into bed, so I have to let you go.

SusieQ says:

she says she will call your mom when we arrive and let her know the details about your visit.

legoless says:

okay that wold be awesome

SusieQ says:

take care, good night

Well done, enjoyed the conversation...distance doesn't matter when it's true friendship! Enjoyed!

Glad to know Susie and the gang are on their way to Tennssee, but sad to see friends that should be together going their separate ways (no fault of their own). Hopefully the friendship will continue and grow, even though distance now separates the two young girls. Very well done, Michelle and Sarah; brava! brava!

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :D
