how are you doing?


Kia says:



I havent talked online in a long, long time


Kia says:



Okay I still get really bad headaches, and I get frustrated easy, little things still are really hard for me to do


Kia says:



I get mad at myself alot


Maddie says:



are things getting better for you?


Kia says:



I guess, the doctors say I will never be the same


Maddie says:



I hate that happened to you


Maddie says:



did you ever remember much about how you became that way?


Kia says:



Me too but its not your fault


Kia says:



No but Mamma says thats a good thing


Maddie says:



yeah, I'm sure it is


Kia says:



I can only read at like a third or fourth grade level and Mom says I used to understand college material


Maddie says:



that has to suck


Kia says:



yeah Mom told me not to use that word though


Kia says:



I dont even remember how I lost my leg


Kia says:



But Mamma says it was before I was brain damaged


Maddie says:



yeah, it was


Kia says:



I feel like such a baby sometimes, everyone else my age can do so much more than me


Kia says:



I am sixteen


Kia says:



and the doctors say I can not drive or anything


Maddie says:



yeah, I can imagine you do


Kia says:



Do what?


Maddie says:



feel like a baby alot


Kia says:



Yea


Kia says:



I hate it Maddie, I am surprised you even talk to me I am such a baby


Maddie says:



are you going to be starting school next month?


Kia says:



Home schooled


Maddie says:



no, you are not a baby at all


Maddie says:



you are still 16, even if you don't feel like you are


Kia says:



I cry all the time and I dont even know why


Kia says:



Its really stupid


Maddie says:



do you talk to a counselor?


Kia says:



yeah at my church I really like her


Kia says:



She's really nice


Maddie says:



does it help?


Kia says:



I think so


Maddie says:



good


Maddie says:



I wish I could do more to help you

I feel like I don't do anything at all

she was tired, about to go to bed.

she and Rebekah Rachel and I stayed up really late last night, then still got up to go to church this morning

thats good to hear, I forgot I saw you at church I am sorry

I hate forgetting like this

everybody understands, don't beat yourself up over it

Its hard for me though

I want so much to be normal

I cant talk much longer I am afraid I am starting to get a horrible headache

the usual, EMG, EEG, MRI and CT Scan, along w. another muscle biopsy


Maddie says:



Muscular Dystrophy


Kia says:



Oh yeah sorry I forgot


Maddie says:



it's ok

My Mom wants me to take me meds, but Linda wants to know if you would talk to her?
