Greetings it is your friend Mechela in Lalibela Ethiopia.  I am doing well. The days have found me busy school is coming to a close, and I will soon be working in the fields for the hot summer months.  Life never slows down here in Lalibela, and this is also the time where many tourists come to visit our beautiful country!

I have been busy with my studies, preparing for exams and the such and of course church keeps me busy.  I love learning about our God. As I said before being an Orthodox Christian I believe God is fully divine, whereas those in the mainstream churches believe he is fully divine and fully human!

Mamma and Dad are proud of me, I got A's in all my studies.  They believe that my education needs to continue on even though I am a girl.  I am glad that my Mother and Father are more mainstream when it comes to giving their daughter an education.

Well it is early, and the sun is just now rising, but that means the start of another day, and the start of work as well as school.  I must walk far and be there in just a short time, so I will end this for now.  Perhaps when school is out and the Harvest is done I will catch up more.
