Jeff was a monster, there was no other way to put it....

Chapter Thirteen:

I would be going home soon, to wherever home was.  The doctor had come in to talk to me, and I had called my Mom on one of the disposable cell phones she had bought for me to use so I could call in and check on her and Andrea and Shawna.  We could not be to careful, because I knew that depsite the fact that Jeff was behind bars.  He would find a way to get me, and I knew that he would not think twice about killing me and his own daughters.  Jeff was a monster, there was no other way to put it.

"Mom do you have a safe place to keep the girls when you come and get me I am afraid to bring them here."

"Honey I don't know who we can trust, we are going to have to bring them, but we are going to get you checked out and get you into the new place right away.  I know you are going to have to spend alot of time resting."

"I feel like all I have been doing is resting, and worrying about my daughters, and being tortured in Physical therapy."

"How's that going?"

"I don't know Mom, I think sometimes it hasn't sunk in, the doctors words, and the fact that I may never walk again is a pill I am having a hard time swallowing, but i would gladly give up my life for Andrea and Shawna."

"I know honey, I feel the same way about you and the girls."

We had to end the car as a nurse came in to check on me.  I was not going to miss the checks that seemed to happen a hundred times a day.  I hated being poked and prodded at, but more than that I hated that my beautiful little girls were having to hide from the man who was supposed to love them.

To Be Continued in Chapter Fourteen
