Just one of a few very short stories depicting the existence of an individual over time.

It was 900 degrees out, I mean not even the shade of passing planets could keep you from sweating, and there she stood, I had not thought of her in centuries and now here she sits. Her fiery bluish hair was not too short and not too long and her skin was a smooth, slightly blemished, light-brown. She was a supernova amidst dimming stars and I was only a satellite capable of getting just close enough to feel her warmth and be amazed by it. In her Earth form she was gorgeous, the perfect body with just enough scars to prove to me she was as human as I. Our purposes in lives previous to this were very different, but circumstances allowed us to meet from time to time. At onetime she blazed around the galaxy in search of truth, while I hurled meteors within it as a function of a greater power. But here on Earth we were equal and I was determined to get her attention in a more suitable fashion. Would she remember our many passes, would she remember my energy, will she know me? On this plane we both entertained a number of entities that allowed us to come closer to each other. One entity in particular used magic and fire to deceive the hearts and minds of humanity and she and I tended to the well being of that entity. We were a part of a large force within the body dedicated to chemically altering the vessels of Man. Moments of labor allowed for very stimulating exchanges of thoughts and dreams. She was magnificent. In the dead of heat she would challenge me physically, and in the winter take me to school mentally. This would last for many moons and in flash of light disappear. Some might ask “why”, but I cannot answer “why”, I can however answer “how”.

During my early years on Earth a great spirit had consumed much of the planet. It took many forms to possess its hosts and when it was finished left only remnants of an individual. I had not been over taken by the spirit, but I was attracted to it. Members of my creation family were not fooled by this spirit and made sure that I knew the real from the real. My battles with those very truths forced me into seclusion so that I might create a way being that was above the norm...
