The Hyena

The Hyena in animal lore is the angel of death. This awkward gaited beast knows that every other animal winds up inside him. The Hyena is a frightful beast. A skulking coward that would always get its prey in the end. The lion knows that king or not, and the elephant knows that emperor or not, they all have a common finish: inside the dragging gut of the Hyena.

Animals do not bathe like man in a conscious manner. Yet in their enclave, the Hyena is regarded as stinking. Apart from its filthy scavenging, Hyenas are known to eat alive wounded brothers. In certain areas where the dead are not buried deep enough the Hyena will unearth the corpse and make a feast of it. Its great mandibles bite through flesh and bone with relishing ease. Only birds and the untiring ants can visit the scene vacated by the Hyena.

One in about ten Hyenas is a pure heamaphrodite eqipped with complete set of male and female reproductive organs. The heamaphrodite Hyena can both impregnate and conceive

God crippled them so that they cannot run very fast. They feed on the weak and the ill and the dead. The Hyena snap, with those enormous jaws, the udders of cows. They lie in wait in the breeding season for the ewes to drop their lambs and eat the weakened mother and the baby as well.

When the Hyena is wounded, with its guts dragging, it sits down and eats the intestines with festive relish. Where it sustains a festering wound and is hungry the Hyena will happily feed off its own body.

Hyena, dirty beast that loves nobody
