Ronee' writes some more in her journal.
Tuesday, April 12, 2005, 10:56 a.m., C.S.T., D.S.T.~
Dear Journal~
Man, I hate daylight savings time...I wish it were still the old time; this new time change is always so confusing to me! (I almost put 9:56 a.m. instead of 10:56 a.m; my body still hasn't acclimatized itself to the time change; no wonder I have been so tired....)
ANYWAY, this is your friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux. I am sitting here in Study Hall, bored out of my gourd. I just had History, and now I am here in Study Hall, where I just got done doing some of my History homework. I will work on some more of my work later; but right now I feel like writing on my laptop and writing in my journal. So I AM.
I am happy to say I am over the stupid arthritis flare I had over Easter. I was in the hospital from the day after Easter until the following Saturday, five days, and I was so sick and in so much pain I didn't care whether I lived or died. I hate those stupid flares; I think I need a new body transplant! LOL It really was a doozy, one of the worst arthritis flares I ever had. I had eye pain, chest pain, severe pain in my joints, tummy pain, the whole nine yards..I also had a very high fever, chills, and a rash all over my face. I was in so much pain my teeth hurt, even my HAIR hurt. The only thing that did NOT hurt on me were my knees! LOL But everything else sure did! And what was weird was that while I was in the hospital for my flare, my doctor, Dr. Hansen (she's my joint doctor), was in the hospital herself with a flare; and we happened to end up being roomies! So my doctor was sick too with an arthritis flare, not just me! It was quite interesting, to say the very least!
Guess who I heard from the other day: my friend in Sacramento, California, Rebekkah Rachel Cohen! She is NOT mad at me, and she has been busy dancing; that is why she hasn't written to me. But she finally DID write to me, and I have answered her back, and then she wrote me again; and I now have to write to HER. She got to meet Vince Gill and Amy Grant last week, and she was all excited! She also told me that Louisa Mason has been sick and has been in the hospital; I pray it isn't anything serious!
And I am waiting to hear from Johnny or Barbara: they both went to Alaska on Saturday, and they will be back this Saturday sometime, and I am sure they are looking at the Northern Lights (GRRRRR!!!) and having a great time with Sikik Eegeesiak and her family! I wish I were there; I hate it when Johnny does something cool and I get left behind! GRRRRR~ (Can you tell I am a tad jealous here?? LOL) ANYWAY, I hope Barbara and Johnny have fun while they are in Alaska, but they had better bring me a postcard or SOMETHING or I am going to be MAD!! GRRR!!
Oopsie! I have to run (can you see me doing that on my STICKS?? LOL); it is almost time for lunch, and besides, I know it is because my belly is doing an awful lot of talking and rumbling, and the kids nearest to me are staring at me. It is embarrassing! I had better scoot if I am to get any hot lunch today; so C ya! Will write in here later!
~Luv, your (hungry) friend, Ronee' Le-Anne Reaux. :P (Tongue hanging out here; I am STARVING!! Sure hope they have something GOOD in the cafeteria today!! LOL)
