Another cat shares his story. He is the brother to sisters "Cajun", "Genevieve", "Tisket", and "Meowsie" and other brother "Furball".
I keep forgetting something: you are NOT Cat; you're Human!
Call me "Stripes". I am aptly named: I AM striped too; look like a smallish Tiger-Cat (but with longer fur). I have a very bushy tail, big green eyes, tall ears that are well tufted, and a very pronounced ruff around my neck. I am a good sized KittyCat; I weigh close to 20 pounds.
Why not? Maine Coons are reputed to be known in the Cat World as "The Gentle Giants". We may be big to most People (or to other Cats), but we are as gentle as Lambs. We have quiet voices, and we are quite unassuming (but we WILL make ourselves known if hungry, bored, scared, sick, or craving attention or if we want something).
I am one of six Cats (two Boys, four Girls): "Tisket", "Genevieve", "Meowser", and "Cajun", and "Furball.". Then there's...me. "Stripes". Most of my Siblings are Tortoiseshell with White, but I stand out because I look like a typical Brown Classic Maine Coon, which is probably the most common type of Our Breed. I am very handsome; have very little white on me.
I live with my Doggie Sister "Chuckles" (a Labrador Retriever; seems that her favorite thing to try to retrieve is ME!), my Humans the Honda Family, and my KittyCat Brother "Toji", a grumpy Persian who doesn't like anyone but himself. He's really rude; I don't like hanging around him.
We live together in Nashville, Tennessee. As far as I know, my Brother and Sisters do, too. I would love to see them again; I really miss them!
Like most Cats, I spend my days sleeping, eating, meowing, playing (either with my Humans or my Animal Brother or Sister), and just actin' all cute and adorable. I am an adorable looker; whenever Humans see me, they get all soft on me and go: "AWWWWWWWWW!"
That's when I turn on the Charm, turn on the Purr Machine full-blast.
Well, I gotta' go; seems that there's a rumor of a Mouse in the livingroom; think he is hidin' by the computer somewhere. Hmmm. Me thinks I gotta' go investigate! So with a flip of my furry Tail, I'm outta' here! Meow!

Karen, you sure that the Orange cat of the Bouncing short stories aren't a relative of your feline friends?
I am a dog man smiling at cat stories, go figure!
