Louisiana Sandusky lets her friend know that her son, Johnathon, is in the hospital, recovering from a severe seizure attack. As of this writing, things still look "iffy" at best for Johnny.

Dear Naomi~
I know you are going through a terrible medical crisis of your own, but I wanted to let you know that we are too. Johnny was rushed by ambulance to the hospital very early this morning; late last night, his service dog, "Ginger", woke us up with her warning bark, to let us know something was going on with Johnny. When Bill went to check in on Johnny, he found him in the throes of a serious epileptic--type seizure.
When the seizure didn't abate after five minutes, Bill had Richard, our older son, call for help while he tried his best to help Johnny. I couldn't get out of bed; I feel that this is somehow my fault, for not telling him more about what is going on with Rebekkah. (Johnny doesn't know about the suicide pact yet. He only knows that Rebekkah is in the hospital and that she is in a bad way.)
Johnny is now in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, fighting for life. He hasn't really responded to the doctors' commands, and he is still in a semi-conscious state. He's not unconscious, but he isn't fully awake and aware either. He's in critical condition, according to his attending doctor, Dr. Ram.
That's the latest report I've gotten from Bill. He's at the hospital now with Johnny while my parents are wrangling with the children. The other children are, understandably, very worried about their brother. The house is unnaturally quiet, and nobody is in the mood to do really much of anything.
I know that Rebekkah would be upset if she were aware herself, but I wanted to let you know what was going on; after all, Rebekkah IS his girlfriend. Just be praying for Johnny; that's all I ask. I'm scared that he may be nearing the end of the battle with his MD, I don't know; according to the latest hospital reports from Bill, it doesn't sound all that encouraging.
I will let you go; the phone is ringing again. Maybe it's Bill calling for another Johnny update. As soon as I find out anything more, I will let you know; stay tuned~ God bless you, give Micah and the family my love, and next time you see Rebekkah, tell her we are praying for a miracle for her as well as Susie. Tell Audrey hello, too.
So long for now!
~Love, your friend, Louie. :( >tears!<
