My name is Paulie Cho, but most people know me better by my nickname: The Egg. They call me this because I am a genius.
Remember the classic Bugs Bunny Cartoon with the little yellow chicken that wore round glasses and wore a beanie and a black and red tee shirt? Well, that is Eggbert, and this is who people think of when they see me. Not that I look like a chicken, mind you, but I'm about as smart as he is. Eggbert is so smart his I.Q. reading is off the charts. Well, that's me as well. My I.Q. is something like 170 points, which is way above average than the normal, average person's.
Anyway, I digress: I am 14 years old and reside in West Covina, California, with my parents Wang and Lin and my younger sister Lee, who is ten (and a genius as well, but her I.Q. isn't quite as high as mine). I also have a dog: a big, brown mutt I named "Einstein". (Einstein isn't that smart; if you ask me, he's pretty stupid a lot of the time: he's always doing a lot of dumb things.)
I am in the GAT (Gfted And Talented) class at my high school. I am in the 11th grade. I skipped two grades: I went from eighth grade immedately to 11th grade because I had all the extra credit and I was proven to be way above average for typical classes. Next year, 2013, I will be a senior, which means one thing: thinking about college and what I would like to do for the rest of my days.
I would like to dabble in Accounting or perhaps become a computer tech. I am great with numbers and can figure out the inner workings of a computer better than a lot of adults. I've always been good at this and as I mature, it just becomes easier and second-hat for me.
My father is a CEO for one of the banks here and my mom is a high school physics instructor.
I have a lot of friends, but most of them are intelligent like me. We tend to hang around together and sit at our own special table. I don't mind the "normal" (or even abnormal) kids, but some of my friends can't stand them. I don't know why: they're people too, just like us; they don't deserve to be mocked or ridiculed.
Well, I have to get ready to go to my next class which is College Intro Math. One of my favorites! I will write in here again another time; until then, this is Egghead saying so long!
~Paulie Cho. (aka "Egghead" or "The Egg"; that is another nickname I have been bestowed with!).
