30 April, 2012, Sydney, Australia~

Blast!  You mean it's been two feckin' months since I've written in here??  I could have sworn I did an entry recently ... I must be losin' me marbles .... I swear (and I do ... often!) ....

Tottie Ruth Brighton here.  Hope this finds y'all in fine fettle.  As for me, this cold, damp weather is about to do me in: my fibro is fibroin' and me stump is painin' me so bad it's all I can do to keep from pullin' the rest of what remains of me leg off!!  It's awful!!

The weather here's ths shits.  Rain, rain, rain, and more rain.  I am so tired of the rain I could spit nails!!  Doesn't help that it's cold; if it gets any cold, we may have snow by tonight if this keeps up; that's what the local weather people are saying.  It's been colder than normal and right now I would NOT mind a little summery type heat!

I bet it's warmer in Antarctica!  Yarg!!

Hard to believe that it's been naerly five months since Guinivere Abigail, our daughter, was born (she was born on 25 December, 2011).  She has turned into quite a fat little pumpkin with round, apple cheeks, huge hazel eyes, and the cutest little dumply body!  She looks just like me (poor child!!).  As for Trystan Robert, our 2 1/2 year old son, he is going to be tall: at the age of 2 1/2, he is already the size of a four-year-old, and doctors think he is going to take after me husband's cousin, Horace, who is 7'4"; he's a TREE!!

He's the spittin' image of me husband, albeit a tall version of him in miniature.  :)

The only good thing this nasty weather is good for is killin' the bugs.  If I don't see another funnel web spider, it will be too soon.  They were bad this past spring and summer.  We have to have our house fumigated every month, just to get rid of those nasty li'l buggers.  I'm so scared I or Bobbo are gonna get bit, but worse, the children: if Gwin or Trys were to get bit, they could die, or at the very least, get bloody sick and end up in hospital; I don't think me heart could take that ... it chills me just thinkin' about it ....

I've already had one or two encounters with 'em; twice was MORE than enough, I'd say!  Blast, I HATE those nasty, creepy things ....

Healthwise, if it weren't for me fibromyalgia or me stump pain, I'd be perfect.  It's no wonder I'm as grouchy as a mamma koala protectin' her young: I'm in PAIN!  And yet no matter what I take, I can't seem to get any relief!!  I'm lucky if I get more than four hours of sleep a night; I'm so exhausted, it's not a bit funny!

Well, Guin is crying again; she must be waking up from her nap.  BLAST it all!  I will write in here again soon; sorry for the rant, but I'm TIRED!!!  Take care; talk to y'all later! Cheers!

~Love, Tottie Ruth.  :/
