I was hoping that by now, "Ducky" would take a hint and just fly off to join his "own kind". No luck. Ducky is still following me like a fowl version of an eager puppy. It is extremely annoying!
No matter what I do outside, Ducky just flat out refuses to fly off. He is starting to become something of a feathery nuisance.
Mom and Dad, of course, think it's cute and only laugh whenever I complain to them about Ducky. I am vehement about it, but like Ducky, Mom and Dad just don't "get it".
I bet by now they've told all their friends about my new "pet". Pfft! Pet, my butt!! I'd love to get a hold of Dad's shotgun and blow Ducky's butt apart! I have had it with his quacking and following me around the way he does!
I have told them I have wanted to shoot Ducky, but Mom and Dad both say nothing doing. They have both become attached to Ducky and don't want to see one feather harmed. My luck.
So guess what. I am stuck with a stupid duck that I did not want and it's gottan so bad I hear his incessent quacking, even in my sleep!!
My friends now know about my new "feathered friend", to the point of where they have started to tease me. They call me "Duck Boy" and find it hilarious to quack at me at any chance they get. They may find it funny, but I sure as heck do not!!
Well, I guess I'm gonna feed Ducky his nightly round of duck feed and give him water. Don't want the poor thing starving, especially during these hot summer days! I do owe him that much; I'm not totally a heartless, uncaring person! I do have a heart; it's just I get tired of dealing with a duck that happens to be very, very stupid!
