Do you choose to be a Sheep or a goat?

Our Father does not wish any should perish in everlasting brimstone and fire. Our Lord call His sheep and we hear His voice. By going into your heart and listening, you can hear God talking and guiding you, if you choose and if you don't, then you choose to be a goat who will be led to the left hand of our Father for you cannot serve two masters. Allow not Satan to lead your flesh but allow God to rule your soul. God's love is the narrow road to eternal life, saying good-bye to sorrow.

“And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.” Matthew 25:33

Surrounded by a multitude of goats, I looked down at my legs. Course-stubby, white-grey hairs announced my horror. I was a goat.

Barely able to move, I reared up on my hind legs to see... I saw a winged creature with a beautiful face, saying things pleasant to my ears. Sounding sweet at first, turned horrifying sour in my stomach. It called to us goats and we moved forward with pride, hate, envy, jealousy and ignorance, all moving forward with haste to walk off the edge of a cliff. The fire blazed out of the pit singeing my course hairs. Burning flesh pierced my nostrils and lingering screams lifted throughout.

After realizing my fate, frightened, I turned to the right and to my amazement, a few others stood on their hind legs. Looking to my left, a few more. We stared at each other in our own understanding and a magnificent Light entered our hearts. Knowledge entered our minds and Wisdom said, “Flee from thee”. A tremendous roar from the winged creature grazed through and powered over the top of our heads nearly bursting my eardrums to move forward with haste. “Do as you're told, or else!” It said.

Looking right then left, I leaped throwing my hind legs up and over my head facing the other direction. My course stubble turned into soft cotton and my legs shortened. Sprinting with all my might, strength from within powered my short legs through the crowded pasture. The few others on their hind legs did the same.

Together, we bolted through the millions of goats as lightening parting the clouds for days on end, until finally... we found a safe place away from the rest of the world. We wait patiently for our Lord knowing, he will come. And as we happily wait like our Father commanded us... multitudes of goats continue to plummet to their deaths at their own free will in ignorance, just as our Father told us... they would do.

A sheep today, I wait for my master until the end of my days however soon or far. I’m excited to be apart of his divine plan. But while waiting, I deal with Satan and his Fiery Darts spoken of in Ephesians Chapter Six, ninety percent of the day even in my sleep. Every day, I hear him calling, searching and banking that I’ll return to him out of fear and deception.

Before I knew how my Father God loves me, cradles, protects and shapes me into his Body of Christ, Satan had already had his way with me. Allowing him to make a complete fool of me in front of my Father, Satan used to laugh. He used to roll on the ocean floor buckled over in laughter, pains in his stomach because he had me where he wanted me, eating out of the palm of his wicked hand.

Now Satan sits on his puny throne, paralyzed in the thinkers’ position, plotting a new path of deception and destruction for me and my fellow sheep. Looking for angles into our renewed minds, searching for a crack in our sealed proof hearts and hoping for a loophole into our souls. He can't.

He has lost, when it comes to us, no matter what. He is on the outside of our lives where he shall stay, giving us power over him.

Until that special day, a twinkling of an eye, that one fine hour and single moment in time, I watch him through my narrowed armored-thick eyes, dissecting his every move with fine tuned discernment, a gift from my Father. You can have it too. Open up and receive him if you have not already! Our Father’s gift is free and cannot be bought and if not accepted there will be a price that will cost you your life. So truly, you can’t afford to loose out. Our Father loves us, it’s up to us to know it and love him back… through the good times and the bad.

So here’s to you Satan… you wicked creature

“Thine heart was lifted up because of thy beauty, thou hast corrupted thy wisdom by reason of thy brightness: I will cast thee to the ground, I will lay thee before kings, that they may behold thee. Thou hast defiled thy sanctuaries by the multitude of thine iniquities, by the iniquity of thy traffick; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of thee, it shall devour thee, and I will bring thee to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold thee. All they that know thee among the people shall be astonished at thee: thou shalt be a terror, and never shalt thou be any more.” Ezekiel 28:17-19

May God keep you in his sights, protecting you always.

A sheep, a sheep! I've been one for a lot of years now, and never had 1 minute's regret. I have no doubt that you are one of the Shepherd's beloved sheep, too, Tasha. This is a penetrating allegory. I pray God will bless it and use it for His glory here on Authors' Den. I know He will.
