Synopsis

I have not ever tasted such a fruit before as
this one in the garden. To have my eyes opened from
inside, I am truly enlightened by such a strong and
powerful fruit as this tree of knowledge of good and evil.
This knowledge shall bring forth my new conscience. I
perceive now in my minds eye that I am the god of this
world.

Thieves Lay Awake Chapter One “I have not ever tasted such a fruit before as this one in the garden. To have my eyes opened from inside, I am truly enlightened by such a strong and powerful fruit as this tree of knowledge of good and evil. This knowledge shall bring forth my new conscience. I perceive now in my minds eye that I am the god of this world. And my mind’s eye is clear. I have sole my inheritance for a one glop of the fruit.” said the spirit being called Ha Adam. The Mourning Star’s wing spread from one end of God’s throne unto the other end of his throne. He was the most beautiful of creatures in the order of sons of light. “Sharpen not your tongue foolish child”, the serpent spoke. ”You are the one called, Darkened Lust, Serpents Kiss, and Prideful One of God “. A hush was amongst the creatures which stirred along the treetops and throughout the brush. ”You are the mimicker of God.” And with a twirl of his tail the serpent transformed itself into the form of a man. He wore his hair fine as silk. It was as white as the December’s frost and flowing about his shoulders down an Egyptian robe. His face and skin as that of an albino. His eyes bore the illuminist flare of promise rejected. “Prideful one of Him, I am called child? I have not sold my soul until death. Given now yourself to death in ashes for the knowledge of good and evil in which I have given thee out of my own power. Now it is I who is the ruler of this world and you are my slave. I am your master.” he echoed. The figure spoke gracefully without moving his tongue. The light of the garden darken in thunders of smoke irruptions. The once vivid leafs greens, reds, blues and purples slowly began to weather into black dust. The ones called Ha Adam lay naked before all living creatures, their dirt brown complexion now pale in comparison to its once former glory. Their eyes became blacken by the light, changing fire red. The woman with him cried out, ” I am the Mother of Man”. The heavens parted. “I have opened the gates of hell on earth” they yelled in fear. The gardens darkness faded. The woman looked into the stream of crystal water her hair began to dry out from the roots. They who ate the fruit fell down and lay as they were dead. The golden colors of the gardens splendor suddenly remained in a state of conversion. “Ha-Adam, where are you children?” The burst broke sound in to nothingness. ”Ha-Adam, why are you laying there as though you were dead? What has happened in the garden? What have you done? “, The voice compressed ever molecule of air. These three beings lay face to the ground their bodies formed into what was swine flesh in appearance. The earth once again irrupted and became new again as the one whom is and was and shall be remade the garden he had given Ha Adam to care after. “Children, why have you listened to the serpent that deceived his brothers?” They shook in fear with the sound of his voice. “We are fools Father and have ate of the tree of good and evil in which you planted in the garden.” Ha Adam slowly motioned to lift his head. “You art wisest of all living creatures Father, we have transgressed your ruler ship. Please Father have mercy upon us and take away this flesh of the beast.” Terrance L. Burton 2008
