Bigfoot is Still Being Sighted!
If you have been reading this column, you know that we routinely receive sighting reports on the blog, Bigfoot Ballyhoo. And what is exciting about this is that these reports often are just a day or two old. The blog does not require names. This allows readers to share their sighting without fear of ridicule, which often happens if a name is required. And it is common for locations to be given with these sightings. We at Ballyhoo do not encourage or discourage the giving of locations. Since we hope this animal will soon be proclaimed as “real” by science and law, it seems reasonable to believe, the more information we know about it, the more people will have the opportunity to see it and photograph it. Maybe even come upon one dead on the road, having been hit by a log truck.
My husband, Chris, and I are planning a daytrip today. We will drive the back roads west of our little town of Sutherlin, Oregon. We do not foster hopes of actually seeing the animal, but we will be in his home turf. The reason I say we don’t expect to see bigfoot is, he is generally seen at night. I’ll take along plaster just in case I find a print. I would be thrilled to have a plaster bigfoot print, especially one I found and prepared myself.
Bill Emery is due to tell us more about his adventure to get to the bottom of the bigfoot mystery around Sru Lake, Oregon. In his last comment he said he intended to hike the remote trails around the lake and camp where night found him. He has already spent a week at the lake and has seen several animals, but no bigfoot. We are patiently waiting for a comment from him.
